The link to repairworld was helpful.
I took the TV apart - the board is RUNTKA448WJQz
    It is a rectangular board.
Could not find at Repair World.
    Going to option 2.

  • Tcombs Feb 23, 2012

I ordered and received a new board from tvrepairworld.com. The result was the same - turn tv on, momentary screen, yellow light, blinking green light., screen gone as soon as tv clicked power off due to some problem. The board may be the only part that can be replaced.

Its almost always caused by bad capacitors on the power board. You can get a repair kit or the replacement power supply board from www.tvrepairworld.com

They only list a fraction of the boards they have available. Hit the contact us link on their website and leave the model number and what your needing they respond within minutes and I am sure they have your board available .

SOURCE: power light blinking green, nopicture lc-32sb24u

This same thing happened to me, but not until I fiddled with all of my remotes, trying to see if it was an input issue, battery issue, etc. I finally unplugged the tv from the wall and plugged it back in. Nothing. Then I went to take 5 minute ****. When I finished, the Power & OPC lights were blinking, and out of sync. I pressed the power button at the top of my TV and got a picture.

SOURCE: Blinking power light on LC-32SB24U.

It may be detecting short circuits in the power supply or in the backlight inverter board, try disconnecting the power cable to the backlight inverter board to see it you can get it to come on without the pictures.

How do I fix a Sharp Model LC-32SB24U that has a blinking power button?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Keep always blinking the green lights indicator ones i plug the power cord. no video, no raster on the screen.

The green lights on a Sharp television indicate a problem. The number of blinks is a code. The television has gone into a coma in order to protect itself. You can force this television on by doing this. Unplug the television. Hold down the vol+ and channel down button on the television and while holding them down still plug the television in. This is a temporary way to view the television but the problem will get worse if not repaired. Should the television power on this way unplug it when you want to turn it off without pressing the power button at all.

TV won't turn on

the first thing that you need to do is to open the back cover of your tv.Go to the power supply section it is separate board where the power cord is connected.Using a multitester, plug in the power cord and measure for the output supply.see if the 5vdc ,12vdc and 24vdc are present..if one of this output is missing, replace the power supply board But if the output voltage are complete, replace the inverter board,It is a board that supplies the high voltage to the backlights of your monitor/screen....You can also try to reset the system of your tv by pressing the the small switch mounted on the main board press it twice while the power is on...tnx and good luck!

My Sharp LC-32SB24U will not power on from the remote. It will work if you push the button on top. I have another sharp lcd in the house and I tried that remote also but it still will not turn on from the...

You have to unplug the television after turning it off. Take the batteries out of the remote control. Point the remote toward the remote sensor (bottom right hand corner of the television set). Press the power button on the remote control and hold it down for 30 full seconds. Next press and release every button on the remote control. Next plug the tv back in and power it on from the power button on the television itself. Replace the batteries. Adjust the volume using the remote control. If that works the problem is solved. If it doesn't work you may need a software update, a new remote control, or repair to the sensor on your television.

To see if your remote control is working look at it through the viewscreen of a digital camera. The digital camera must be turned on and ready to take a picture. Next press a channel button on the remote control. Do you see a bluish white light? If so the remote control is ok.
