My Motorola Photon Q will not receive or send texts or calls, what can I do?

I would check with sprint to see if your account is up to date. Otherwise, I would suggest going to your settings and see if you can update your phones's prl and profile. go to settings, tap "About phone", Tap "System updates", then tap each option. Good Luck!

Unlock Cell Phones
Your cell phone may be locked to a particular cell phone provider and in this case it needs to be unlocked to use with a different cell phone service provider. To get the security code/restriction code to unlock the cell phone from the current cell phone provider so you can use the SIM card with a different phone provider, Please click on this link and follow my instructions :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r4049238-unlock_cell_phone If your phone provider does not help you then these WEB sites it provides security codes for a small price. http://www.mobileunlockstore.com/?gclid=CKDb2_y2558CFSlJagodxBkDHw http://www.mobileunlocksolutions.com/ http://www.superunlockcodes.com http://unlockcellphonecode.com/

Sim card not ready

Try going to storage in the settings menu. See if it says mount or unmount SD card. If not just take out sd card n turn off phone. Turn on. Look in menu, see if phone recognizes there is no sd card. If so, good. Turn phone off. Remove battery 5 seconds. Insert battery and sd card. Turn on phone. Allow total boot process before manupulating phone. Go to contacts. If it doesn't read the sd card automatically then press add contact. See if it has add from sd card

I just replaced my cell phone & my old sim card, my phone try's to dial 911

Instructions
1 Pay off your phone bill. Some cell phone companies allow your phone to only reach emergency services if you have oustanding charges. Pay your cell phone bill, or add money to your prepaid account, to prevent your phone from just making emergency calls.

2 Cancel your emergency plan. Cell phone companies provide this feature free, especially to those who are 50 years or older. If you do not need the plan, then cancel it to prevent making accidental emergency calls.

3 Stay within your roaming area. If you travel out of your area, some cell phones and providers (e.g., BlackBerry, iPhone and AT&T) will only allow you to make emergency, or 911, calls.

4 Click "OK" and "Contacts." Navigate to "Emergency Contacts," or a selection with similar wording. Select "Disable." This prevents you from making accidental calls to 911.

When I walk inside my work building my cell phone doesn't accept calls, make calls, texts & internet isn't working. But when I walk back outside, it starts working again. Please help.

This building is preventing cell phone signals from reaching your phone. Try using your cell next to a window where signal are not obstructed by reinforced concrete walls.

It needs a sim network unlock pin and i dont know it and this problem is preventing me from callin and texting but i can receive calls and messages

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

If you can receive calls but cannot make them, a Network Unlock PIN will not help you to make calls. A Network Unlock PIN only unlocks the phone so it can be used with another cell phone company.

From what you've described, your phone may be security locked. And, you'll need to call your cell phone company to assist you. We cannot provide security unlock codes on FixYa!.

,i have my load but it is always says check operator services everytime i try to send a message

If the message "Check Operator Services" appears on the screen of your mobile when you attempt to make a call/sms, you should:
Check if there's a number 2 on the left hand corner of your screen.
If so, press and hold the # (hash) key until you see the message "Change the Phone Line?".
Press OK. The message "Line 1 selected" should then appear and the number 2 will disappear.
Attempt to make a call.
Note: Line 2 is an option on Nokia mobiles that's selected by holding down the hash key and pressing OK. Vodafone doesn't support this feature. You can prevent accidental changing of lines by activating your keypad lock. On some handsets, you can do this by pressing "Menu" then "*" to lock the keypad. "Menu" then "*" will unlock.
