Remove the toner bottle, open the back cover and look for the small DIP Switch turn on and off, by doing this you are forcing the machine to come out from add toner condition. Then you do 20 sky shoot.

I suggest removing the toner, and visually inspecting it, make sure the sealing tab has been removed, give it a really good shake, as the toner may have settled in storage. re-insert the cartridge making sure it goes in the right way.
If you can hear a slight 'clicking' noise it's adding toner and pumping it into the developer unit, some machines take 2 minutes, some take 6..
Failing that, lift the platen cover and do a few black copies, so you force the machine to add toner.
Open the front cover and locate the waste toner bottle. Empty it out and see if that corrects the problem. If that doesn't work, clean the bottle after emptying it. If the doesn't work, replace the waste toner bottle with a new one.
