DRIVER SOFTWARE The package did not include a driver software CD. The site is not helpful. What to do? the machine is useless to me if I cannot download my recordings into my vista driven PC. Help? Thanks

    no driver, makes this nothing but a glorified tape recorder, have to have the device to listen to files and must keep them on until your are done with them.

    I have a similar issue, i was using it for work to link with a powerpointpresentation, but I can't get it off the recorder to link them up.

    Purchased an Olympus VN-4100PV digital voice recorder a couple of months ago at Radioshack. (no software came with it)
    Recently purchased new PC with Vista 64-bit. Recorder will not work. Called Olympus today, 12-3-08 and was told no driver is going to be issued to remedy this situation, thus rendering my device useless.
    Thanks for nothing Olympus product support.

    I just bought the VN-41000 and when I try to convert its files into the computer it says I need the disk. I put the disk into the computer and my recorder didn't seam to have any files showing up but it reaally did. I guess maybe a download will work. Not sure.

    I am extremely disappointed that this vn4100 did not come with the software needed and I can not download it. I am upset with the fact that I am in a two week training and missed 2 days of VALUABLE recording time already simply because I can not empty the current recording contents to my computer. It is very sad to see the attempts that have been tried by others and the (unsupport) negative support olympus has given to its consumers. Not to say that this was a $300 recorder, but my dollar of any amount these days looks like one million to me when it is wasted!

Download the digital player from this link. http://www.olympusamerica.com/files/digitalwaveplayer.zip

Plug in the voice recorder again and it should now find the software automatically through window's automatic hardware finder wizard.

In all fairness, Beerlal posted this solution but to a slightly different question.

1. Download the generic wave player. It is on the Olympus UK site.

2. Download and install the wave layer update specific to the Olympus VN 4100pc. Oila! You can now transfer the files to a PC (no mac software)

3. In the future, never buy a gadget that doesn't show up as an external drive on your machine.

How do I install an Epson L380 printer driver?
If needed, get the current driver package for your OS version from https://epson.com.jm/Support/Printers/All-In-Ones/L-Series/Epson-L380/s/SPT_C11CF43301#drivers . Do not connect the printer's USB cable to the computer until you run the installer. (Grab the full software if you want to use the scan functions.) If you connect the USB cable first, a generic printer driver will install and the scan functions will not work. You'll have to uninstall the generic driver before continuing. Note: some third-party software that was on the original install disc may not be included in the software package.

After you run the driver installation software, connect the USB cable to the computer when prompted to do so. The all-in-one should work.

Where can I get the download for a scanner driver for my canon mx472
Canon support will have the drivers that are available for the Pixma MX472 here: https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mx-series-inkjet/mx472/pixma-mx472?cm_sp=CSO-_-PFListing-_-MX472 . You will probably want the full software and driver package to ensure that you can use all of the features of the all-in-one. This package will include all of the Canon software. It doesn't have any third-party software that may have come on the installation CD.

If you previously connected the MX472 to your computer and Microsoft found some drivers, remove the drivers and disconnect the USB cable before you install the software from the above site. Frequently, the drivers found by Windows Update are only the basic printer drivers.

HL-2270DW need install drivers, do not have CD
Brother has the drivers for most of their printers on their support site. For the HL-2270DW, go to http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public/us/us/en/dlf/download_top.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=hl2270dw_all . What OS does your computer have? Select your OS and then your language. Click on the Search button.

The Full Driver and Software Package should be the first one listed after the search. This is the version for most users. Just click on the Download & Information link. Then click Download. Look further down the page for the stand-alone drivers.

If you have another driver installed (for example, the Windows USB driver for a locally connected printer), uninstall the driver first. If it's the Brother driver, use the Brother uninstall tool. Otherwise remove the printer in the Devices and Printers Control Panel. (Click Start > Devices and Printers. Right click on the printer and choose Remove.) Then remove the USB cable if connected to the computer. Install the Brother software and then connect the USB cable when prompted to do so.

Note: this download does not include any third-party software that was on the original CD.

Brother has the drivers and other software for the HL-5140 available for download here: https://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=hl5140_all . Pick your OS to determine if the driver is available from Windows Update (Windows 8.1 and Windows 10) or as a package (XP). Note: the site doesn't include any third-party software that was on the CD. I did not see a link for ordering a replacement CD on the Brother support site.

I hope the online drivers help you use the printer.

I have a MacBook Pro. My hard drive crashed and had to be replaced. I used my Time Machine back-up, but now my computer will not find my Brother MFC 210c and downloading the online drivers from the Brother...
You can get the drivers from brother's website here.
Select All in the type, select your operating system, select your language and the click search. The first result that says 'full driver and software package' should be the equivalent to the CD that came with theprinter that you are missing and should include all the software that you need.

If you are using WinXP or Vista, the drivers for the device are part of the driver packages included with the operating system. As far as software to operate the scanner, MS Office products include the capability to use an attached scanner to scan documents and images as well as a Document Imaging Tool and a Document Scanning Tool.. Many other packages also offer the same type of functionality. Going directly to the HP site (www.hp.com) and selecting the Support and Drivers tab, selecting the 'download drivers and software' button and entering 'scanjet' and the specific model number of your device can give you any software that they still have available for your product. They have a long list of scanners that they provide DeskScan and Copy software for WinXP/Win2K, etc. The newer ones also have updated drivers and software for Vista users.

Hp webcam
Check on the software CD you received with the camera, whether it support your computer's OS. In case it doesn't, go to the HP web site,look for the relevant drivers for you and dowmload it to your computer. Good luck!
