SOURCE: What is the energy effeciency

The A.F.U.E. rating on the G20 series is a paltry 77%. Compared to 94% A.F.U.E. on the high efficient models.

Hope this answered your question. If it did, I'd appreciate you rating my response.

I installed a new thermostat on my hvac system and the heat is not working anymore.

On that thermostat there is an R and an RC wire connection, the R is the power wire for heat and RC is the power wire for cooling. If you connected the power wire (normally red in color) to the RC only the fan control and AC control will work, there has to be a jumper wire between the R and RC terminals (assuming there is only one control transformer) for both the heat and cool functions to work.

Lennox whisper heat gas furnace blows cold air,

As others have said, furnaces require a lot of maintenance. It sounds like a number of things could be causing the problems you've had. A professional would likely be able to pin point the problem and get it fixed.

I have a Lennox elite series furnace. The vents are just blow out cold air, not heat. The theromstat is now working strange. I set the digital theromstat at 75 deg. and then place the thermostat on hold....

You did great! Yes you have a heating system error not a thermostat issue. The 2 blinking lights is an indication something is wrong. Now what you need to do is to remove one of the panels on the heating system and look for a wiring diagram pasted on the reverse. On this diagram there will be a diagnostic chart explaining where to start looking for an issue based on 2 blinks. Because each model is different, a 2 blink error code could indicate a bad pressure switch, plugged air filter or any other thing.

I am trying to change Lennox to Honeywell

Just remember what wires went to which terminal. Usually color coded, red =R, white = W, etc, Shouldn't be too hard. Let me know if you run into a problem.

Lennox furnace not heating up

sounds like the ignitor is bad. there shoule be a 2 wire plug going to it. after the inducer motor starts, you can check the voltage at the 2 wire plug located under the burners. you can unpug it to check voltage or you can probe the back side of the plug with a volt meter. if you are getting 120v but it is not glowing, it is bad. you can also ohm it out while it is off.
