you need to free the network from the phone (unlock it) you can download xss++ for about 3 dollars and do yours and your mates providing you have the USB cable that came with the phone. Failing that you would have to go to a back street phone repair shop where they will charge you a small fortune

without using the sim card for 3 months the sim card will be blocked throw the card and get new one u can do anything else

Hi

This is happening because when the Sim card is not inserted you cannot access the menu of the phone some nokia phones(including yours) are built that way.

Some nokia phones do not need a sim card for you to access the phone menu (e.g 5130,5230), while you can only view the demo of some nokia phones (e.g 1208, 1600) without a sim card

Dear sir,my nokia 6233 set shows corrupted IMEI no.plz help me to restore it back.

Simcard registration failed

you might have not provided a proper ID proof for your sim card during purchase. So the network provider will disconnect your connection and your mobile phone will show as SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED.
buy a new SIM card with a valid proof
