This problem is most commonly caused by the paper thickness adjustment. There is an adjustment gear internally on the rollers which align the rollers for parellel adjustment as well.

Owners manual generally gives instructions on adjustment of these, though often it is beyond user ability.

Often it involves removing covers, and should only be attempted if confident on this type of repair.

Let me know if you still have problems if you attempt this yourself.

Hi - having a paper issue. When paper feeds from the back it will not go in straight so everything prints at an angle. any suggestions

If you have previously had a paper jam, and it tore the paper, there could be a very tiny piece of paper stuck in the feed on the side...it only takes something very tiny to prevent the paper from feeding correctly...a child dropping a little piece of food, it could be anything...but I'd be about 90% sure that it's there. I found one once and it was so small it took forever to find it, and it was even harder to get out...you kind of have to work at it with some Q-tips, eyebrow tweezers, a paperclip, something that you can go in and attempt to clear the feed. If you dont/can't find it you may have to take it apart, and that's not fun, and runs the risk of it "never" aligning correctly...so be persistant.

Why does my dell 1720dn print crooked?

The paper feed rollers are dirty and are pulling the paper in at an angle.
Could be from high % cotton paper or sticky label printing.
Clean the "pickup" rollers with eyeglass cleaner (not Windex).

The Paper is feeding in at an angle and is bending

Make sure the paper is feeding straight! As in manually be a guard. Just do this once and then you'll be fine.

Canon i450 uneven printing

The problem could be as simple as your paper not going through the tray straight, or just aligning the print cartridges. Make sure when your paper is pulled through the printer that it isn't getting pulled more quickly on one side than the other. Also, go into your printer control panel to find the 'alignment option' and follow the steps to complete a proper alignment. If that doesn't work, get back to me with more details about the problem. (is it on a slant, are half the sentences printing on a different angle etc.)

Paper feed problem

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Make sure the paper aligning slides are tight to the sides of the paper. In the case that they are spring loaded make sure there is not something preventing them from holding the paper properly aligned.
The print head could be 'off-track'...
If the text is properly aligned on the edge of the page, but appears crooked it is related to the print head assembly. If the text is not aligning to the edge of the page then the paper is not feeding straight and the paper aligning slides are at fault.
It is also possible that one of the paper feed rollers are not grasping the paper and it is forcing it to one side as it pulls it in.
