Pyle PLDN74BTI volume too loud at start

When I start my car, and the Pyle PLDN74BTI starts, the volume is set to a default 15 which is waaaaay too loud and about blows my speakers every time i start my car. I have to switch to dvd, pause it, then turn down volume jus so I dont lose my hearing. HOW CAN I FIX THIS? Is there a way to reset the default volume upon start up?

Where can I get installation manual for pldn74bti

There is really nothing in the manual to actually show you how to install .You will have to look at the dash and determine how it comes off and just use common sense so you won't damage any thing. You can buy a harness and kit for your specific vehicle and the kit may help you understand how to install it but be careful to not break something that may cost you more than professional installation.Good Luck !

I am installing a Pyle PLDN74BTi double din in a friends trailblazer. I have all of the wires connected to the colors that match and am getting no power to the unit. Please help.

Is the power wire (probably the largest, red) electrically "hot"? There may be a fuse somewhere that you need to install or replace. Is the ground (probably the second-largest, black) well grounded? Without both, the unit will never power up.

No power Pyle PLDN74BTI

Is your power cord plugged in? Are you using a power strip extension cord, if so check it to see if the power surge button hasn't been tripped. If so reset it. See if your wall outlet is working by plugging something else into it. If not working reset your breaker.
