SOURCE: My Bosch MOdel WFMC 3200UC washer won't spin or

Hello,

You haven`t mentioned whether you`ve checked the pump or not and obstructions and debris in Bosch pumps is very common, so I`ll assume you didn`t and explain how you can do it yourself.

**Unplug the washer from the wall or turn off the breaker before attempting any repairs**

  1. Get some towels and if possible a wet/dry vac. If the machine drained, it won't be too bad. If your machine is stuck full of water, I can't say, I'd guess you could get wet. ( unless you`re lucky enough to be close to a floor drain )
  2. Locate the round door on the front of the machine (about 6" in diameter, lower right corner)
  3. Find a drill bit or small screwdriver that fits in the hole in the round door.
  4. Insert the bit into the hole in the door. It will push in a tab, it doesn't take much force. Rotate the hole (clockwise) to 6'oclock and it should come free. (the edges are very sharp so be careful or wear chain-mail gloves).
  5. Once the door is out of the way you'll be greeted by a 3-4" plastic cap with wings so you can unscrew it by hand. ( you should also see a red ring with a string attached, if you pull this the door should unlatch, but getting the water out first is usually a good plan ) There is a small collector lip at the bottom of the cap, that is where you can hold the wet/dry vac to catch the water. Unscrew slowly so you don't get flooded, until it is unscrewed all the way out.
  6. Now pull out the trap and visually inspect the inside of the pump as well as the filter/trap. Hopefully you'll find the item/debris that initiated the error code.
  7. After removing any debris or obstruction`s re-install the button trap/lint filter and plug the washer in to power or reset the breaker and give it a test.
  8. Run a load and watch for leaks. Leave the pump access door off until you are sure you screwed the cap in tight and there are no leaks.
Ultimately you may have a faulty drain pump, but I would certainly start by performing the things I listed first.

Let me know if you require further assistance and if not and this solves your problem, please rate the solution I provided accordingly.

Thank you for coming to "fixya" and good luck.

How do you open the round service door?

Hi biskra, I see this question was posted almost a month ago however, it doesn't appear an answer has been presented so let me...better late than never hopefully. To open the service door ( this is the small round panel to the lower right of your main wash door on Bosch WFMC washers, for those not familiar ) you will need a small screwdriver or a drill bit or anything small enough to fit in the small hole you'll see in this panel. Once you've located the hole, apply a little pressure inward ( theres a lock tab there ) and turn it clockwise and it should come right off. Once off be careful, the edges are extremely sharp. Hope that answers your question. If so please rate it accordingly, if not let me know how I can assist you further. Thank's for visiting "fixya" for your solution and good luck. Macmarkus :)

Put front gasket back on

start on the door side of the appliance put the top of the circle in first this should allow you to stretch the spring a little to make it go on
its a pain and it kills the tips of your fingers try not to overstrech it because it will fall off all the time

How do you replace the door seal on a Bosch Nexxt front load washer?

Tilt the m/c back and remove the clamp securing the seal to the front of the cabinet, double the seal back inside the washer door opening, and then pull the retaining spring off the inside of the door seal which is fitted in a groove at the back of the seal.
Refit the new seal starting at the topmake sure the seal is fittef the right way up, drainage holes to the bottom.
Work the seal on all the way round the drum, and then roll the spring into the groove at the back of the seal and work it round all the way round the seal, you will find it easier if you have someone to help hold the spring in place..
Refit the seal round the front of the cabinet, and refit clamp at front.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks.

Have a Bosch WFMC 3200UC and gives a E04 error.

In order to unlock the door on this machine you must first turn the cycle knob to a cycle that was different than the one you were on. The machine should then reset and the door should unlock.
