I can't set the body fat on my Health o meter and it gives me an E every time I try to weigh myself.

The Error message may be indicative of a defect in the scale but could appear because the parameters you enter cannot be processed. Try again to get a manual by Googling (Health o meter)(BFM688D-60)(manual) without parens.

Gives me diffrent weights even though I am weighing myself within seconds of time, and in the same spot on the floor.

I've found I have to weigh myself, step off, weigh myself with something in my something heavy in my hands, then weigh myself again. The 3rd weight you get will be your correct weight. If you needed the manual, I have uploaded in into photobucket...although it doesn't really address this issue.

When you weigh yourself from day to day it can have up to a five pound differences? any idea what to do

What this has to do with an operating system is beyond me ... but I will try to answer your question any way.

The best way to weigh yourself and have a reliable record is to take the measurement at the same time every day ... I suggest in the morning after you do your morning constitutional (bath room stuff) before you have breakfast or even a glass of water. If your schedule is up side down ... (you work at night and sleep in the day) the same ideal applies ... after you wake up from your daily sleep period, weigh yourself.

You are correct, your weight is affected maybe up to 10 # as the result of a big supper or after a day of sweating at the SPA.

Try my method and see what results you have. Same time every day ... and write it down.

The weight jumps around. If I get off the scale and on again, the weight changes by 5 pounds. I am sure neither weight is correct.

You're only suppose to weigh yourself once a week. Make sure you're doing it after you've gone to the bathroom in the morning and with no clothes on. Other than that, I'd make sure the floor you set the scale on is level and that you are holding very still while weighing.

Fluctuating weight on Digital Scale from one minute to the next..

i believe that, like most electronic scales, the first time you get on the scale you must step off to allow it to zero itself. Then step back on to get your correct weight.

Wii fit weighin too light!

I would suggest that you ensure that the board is calibrated properly and that you don't step on it until directed to do so. I'm sure you're already doing this, because it won't let you go on without doing so.

The other solution I would offer is to change the batteries in the unit, and ensure that you are setting the Balance Board on a smooth, sturdy, and flat surface. If you are on shag carpet, it will not function properly. If you have average carpet, try using the little adapters that attach to the feet.

Remember that for the purposes of this program, the exact weight isn't what is most important, but relative weight. Any time you are tracking weight loss, be sure to mark your progress using the same scale. If you chart the Wii vs traditional scales, you should notice that the decrease is the same, regardless of what your starting point may happen to be.

Good luck!

Does anyone know how to do #6

Step 1) Load 3 weights on to each side of the scales. If scales balanced, then weigh the 2 weights that you left off in step 1.
If scales uneven, remove the 3 from the heavy side and then weigh 2 of the 3 from the lighter side, if balanced it's the 1 weight you didnt weigh.
Hope this helps,
