Question about Nintendo GameCube Console

1 Answer

Nintendo GameCube no color

Input panel on Sony Bravia 32 inch does not have a red/white/yellow cluster of inputs to match the cord from the Nintendo GameCube. Bravia instructions says to connect the red/white connectors to the audio inputs, (done), and the yellow output to the green input of the component trio in the same row of connectors. We get sound and picture (poor quality) but only b&w, no color. There's a passel of connectors back there on the Bravia, but no r/w/y gang. Any thoughts on a different connection arrangement. (If I can get this figured out, my grandson will thank me.)

Well you could get a DVD plAyer that allows you to hook up game consoles to it then for it to work properly or you could buy a new av cables then.

SOURCE: nintendo gamecube wont play games

Since the system was dropped and is obviously in need of professional repair, I would suggest sending it to a Gamecube repair shop. These consoles can be repaired at a reasonable price (as compared to later model game systems) at many reputable shops. A good shop that does this type repair is the NES Repair Shop.

You've only two options. Either have it fixed, or sell it on ebay. Yes, people buy broken Gamecubes for parts, but you won't get much. I would suggest having it fixed. It will provide years of service for a cheap price.

How do i connect my nintendo to my samsung led tv

I am assuming that you are talking about a Nintendo Wii.  When you buy a Wii it comes with standard RCA composite cables that are three colors, Red, White and Yellow.  Yellow is the cable that carries the video signal and the red/white carry the stereo audio signal.  You would need to connect these cables into the corresponding color inputs on your tv.  Plug the yellow ended cable into the yellow jack on your TV and do the same for the red and white cables.  After this is done, you will need to switch your tv's input to the input that corresponds to the one you plugged those cables into.   Some newer flat panel TVs do not come with RCA composite inputs.  If this is your problem, you will need to get some component cables for your Wii.  These cables look identical to RCA (composite) cables but come in colors red, green, blue, red and white.  In this case the red, green and blue cables carry the video signal and the red and white carry the audio.  You can purchase these from just about any store that carries the Wii or online from places such as Amazon.com.

You would hook these up the same way by matching the colors and then changing your tv to the corresponding input.

Hope that helps!

How do i hook up a gamecube to my insignia tv

Use the game cube video cables (Red, White & yellow) to plug in to the back of the TV. just match the colors. There may be multiple areas that you can plug the 3 cords into. Just notice which input you are plugging into. Then use the button on the TV or remote, usually (Inputs) or (TV/Video) to change to the input source you plugged into. Turn the game on and your ready to go.

Sony Bravia 40'' LCD 240Hz TV can't get video signal from DVD

Are you absolutely sure you have it wired up right? Are the Cable RIGHT wires color to color, is the "Correct Input" selected? Remember you do NOT use "Channels" but an AV, AUX, or External.input. Most DVD etc, use AV, IE: Yellow, (Video), Red, (Audio), White (Audio) for the OUT connections. These go color to color at TV end. And uses 3 Cables. The "Other" type of Output/Input is Component Video. This is ALL Video, Red, Blue, Green, these go color to color as well. BUT you MUST also send the Sound, Via the AV, IE: The Red & White, AV, Audio IN/OUT connections, So you in this case would have 5 cables/connections in all.

Can't not get our Nintendo 64 to work on our new Bravia TV

The Nintendo 64 sends out a signal that can only be properly decoded by old CRT TV's

Those Bravia TV's are the God's TV's even if they did work on it I wouldn't recommend it because it would most definitely eventually ruin the life span of your TV.

But to answer your Question the Cables should be plugged into AV1 which is the Red White and Yellow Connections

My Sony Bravia's screen is showing images in red and black only. By playing with the input sockets at the back (pulling out the leads and reinserting) it was temporarily fixed the problem but, now it seems...

If you are using Component Input (green/blue/red inputs) with component patch cords, try using other input jacks ( Video In (yellow) or Cable/RF In). If the color is good, then replace your Component patch cord, the green one is broken.

Hook up of dvd to tv

hey I think you need to use component cables blue green red from the player to the tv, make sure the blue green red ports are also on the tv, note: red yellow white composite cable will not interchange with blue green red component cable or connection.

simplify- blue green red= component
red white yellow=composite

*wires must match colors on both tv and player inputs.

then set your input on your tv to where you conected the cable.
