This is a comercial DVD like movies or events?Yes,than it have copyright protected codes inside it programing.Just check unprotected, will do nothing. Most of these DVD discs must run through a computer programing for decoding, before u can made a duplication.
The "iTunes" files are indeed protected. You'll have to convert the music to another format first. You can burn them to CD and then rip them back to your PC or you can get conversion software, you could try here first:
Some (most) WMA and AAC files are protected and some are unprotected - you cannot "unprotect" them, except by downloading illegal-to-use software such as Tunebite.
To avoid a future recurrence of this problem, only load songs that are in mp3 format onto your player. They are all unprotected.
To Unprotect go to MENU down on the lower left when ur looking at screen press menu while u have one of the protected pics up. Go to Protect folder-select-ok-hit W at top-ok
it is now unprotected and u can delete from here!
Hi, Itunes downloaded songs can be AAC protected songs. These cannot be played on your IDJ2. Luckilly Apple can offer a service(not free) for making your songs non protected.
It would depend on your Operating System. If you are using Windows 98 you'll need the drivers from your CD or from Apacer's website. The CD also has tools to perform various functions which might include protecting and unprotecting your flash disk.
Write the songs to a CD (or a CDRW) first, then re-rip them to Windows Media Player/iTunes/whatever as mp3s, or unprotected WMAs.
Honestly it's easier to burn and re-rip than remove the copy protection. When you burn it to a CD, the DRM goes away, and you'll have a new file that actually plays on your player.
