Why does my Roomba 620 keep stopping when it comes to an object

Does it stop or does it stop and turn to go around the object? I would clean off the sensor. I know mine gets dusty.

I say this to everyone, you must clean out any vacuum, especially the Roomba often. My Roomba gets hair and thread wrapped around every moving part. Turn it on it's back, open the two catches on the right and left. Remove the two spinning bars. get all the hair out of every place you see it, yes even wrapped into the "axles" on each end. Also the ball white/black wheel at the front has to be pried out and the hair removed from this axle. Otherwise it can't turn as easily.

Our Roomba makes little gouges in the woodwork about 11" - 12" apart, what causes this?

Is it literally ripping through the varnish on the floor and tearing into the wood? Two gouges 11-12" apart sounds like the space for the wheels. I would look to see if there is anything wrong or missing from the wheels. Aren't the wheels rubber though? Also check the white/black ball wheel at the front. The axle for this can get clogged up with hair and it will stop turning. Then you're just dragging or pushing a locked wheel. I can see this might scrap the floor. Insert a small standard screw driver in the gap at the right or left and this ball wheel can be pried out. Then remove all the hair wrapped around and into the axle. Pop back into place when done.

Roomba 560: it only spins in one place, then stops & doesn't dock either.

If there's no message its probably a sensor malfunctioning. It might be a cliff sensor, the bump switch, or wheel-drop (left, right, or caster). Try cleaning the sensors and vacuuming things out as a first step.

It only spins in one place then stops

As said, if it beeps 9 times after stopping, than this is known issue and if your bumper moves freely, you might be facing a sensor fault caused by poor quality of components.

My Roomba 560 just spins in circles and then stops and beeps 9

Perhaps its a wheel drop sensor instead of a cliff sensor. Clean the caster, caster axle, caster motion sensor, remove and vacuum or blow the dirt from the left and right wheel assemblies.

Roomba can't make a turn and stops working

make sure the wheels are not clogged with something like hair or carpet strands if that don't work it sounds like your right turn sensor might be bad.call the roomba people or go to roomba.com and look for your model and find troubleshooting

Leaking from left wheel when applying trigger onmodel 7901

Sounds like a problem with the left spray nozzle, may be out of place. Either that or a line is loose and leaking. Either way you will have to pull the top housing off to check it over.
