Question about Cameras

Open Question

Elinchrom Style 100BX flash head gives error code E.6. 1 minute after switching on power (from cold), I get error code E.6 and the flash won't work. Turning the unit off and on again solves the problem for another 60 seconds. If I use the flash within 60 seconds, it works fine - until 60 seconds elapse without it being fired, then get the error code and have to switch off/on again. Just prior to this problem I changed the flash tube which, as far as I can tell, went without a hitch. The unit is COLD - it never gets a chance to warm up, so it shouldn't be heat-related. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

SOURCE: Overheating and Heat doesn't work

Sounds to me like air trapped somewhere in the coolant's path. You said there's a warm spot on top of the engine. This makes me think of possibly a cracked intake manifold or cylinder head. Did it overheat right before this started? I would have the coolant system 'back flushed' and if the problem is still there, I'd next do a compression test (with the radiator cap off).and check to see if there are air bubbles in the radiator while testing. Good luck, please let me know what you find.

SOURCE: I have a 2002 Galant. Air works fine, but when I

There is an electric motor that turns heater core on and off. It's located under the dash to the left of the glove box. Some disassembly required. The part will cost about $120 to $180. part number is #MR958603. I saved money by purchasing it on line. It is a stocking part at most Mitsubishi dealers. Once you pull the glove box out and remove the bottom half of the dash all the way across, you should be able to gain access to the motor to replace it. Caution: if you do not put everything back in correctly and tie/tape it all back down carefully in the correct places you will have lots of under the dash noises when you are done.

Epson Stylus CX7800 All-in-One Printer ERROR CODE 0X9A

Hi
I would hazard a guess that the print head electrics have been flooded with ink causing this error, you could try giving the whole area a good splash and clean of alcohol then blow dry the heads with a hair drier set to cold for a few minutes.

Before carrying out any work on your printer make sure you unplug it from the wall first and then leave it for an hour before powering it back on again.

Good Luck Mark

You need a dealer, there is a real problem going on here, way over the head of any home do it yourselfer. The main reason is the special tools required to interface with the control modules that are throwing these codes

plese read your owner manual for to fix the error codes. God bless you
If you have a more serious digital camera problem and the camera gives you an error message, check your user guide and this list of camera error guides to try to fix the problem. Good luck with your efforts to troubleshoot camera problems!

Another trick to try clearing the lens error message is to press the power button at the same time you press the shutter button. This is a long shot, but it does work on occasion
