I can make a few suggestions.
If this is an outdoor grill, I have had insects (especially spiders) nest in the gas tubing causing a restriction. Start by removing the burners and working your way back to the main gas line.

All 3 burners wont stay ignited at the same time. could it be a bad regulator?

It could be, but not necessarily. Did you turn the tank valve on slowly? Try turning the tank off, disconnect, then reconnect and open it very slowly. If that doesn't solve it, report back and we'll assist you further. Your regulator may be adjustable, so you can probably increase the pressure, if needed. If the first solution doesn't work, remove the cap from the top center of the regulator and turn the adjustment screw clockwise in 1/4 turns to increase pressure and see if that allows all 3 burners to stay lit. Other factors may be an issue, so if this doesn't work either, click on my username and scroll down my profile to my tips and tricks for gas grill lighting issues.

My weber genesis wont stay lit. i can light the

The new style2_bing.gif OPD valves have a small brass ring located in the female fitting on the LP tank. Over time this ring can work loose and then it does not allow the male fitting to fully depress the OPD valve thus reducing your gas flow
Using a small flat bladed screw driver tighten the small brass ring This should solve your problem
IF not you might want to remove the cap (white) on your regulator and try slowly adjusting the regulator, make small adjustments and try the BBQ My Weber if I set the front and back burners to MED I get right at 350 degrees in 60 degree outdoor temps. Adjusting the regulator will take some time to get it right but If it is not your tank it is most likely your regulator out of adjustment

SEAR BURNER LIGHTS, BUT WON'T STAY LITE

Hello. The problem you are having indicates that you have to go through a procedure called "RESETTING THE REGULATOR". Turn the burners on for a minute and then off with the regulator and hose off the tank, then hook it back up and very slowly oven the tank. Then fire off the burners.

In the future, always turn the tank valve on s-l-o-w-l-y to prevent this problem.. Joe

I have a Maytag 30 gas oven. When you set the temp., the oven fires up but the gas will turn on then off. Repeating this cycle over and over. It looks as though the gas supply is having a pressure or...

If it were the regulator you would have the same problem with the top burners. Is the oven burner coming on a little or to normal size? How long does the burner stay on each time?

Our grill doesnt seem to be getting enough gas to stay lit. when you turn the burners on your hear the gas coming through for 2 seconds..then nothing, and it wont stay lit

How are you turning the grill on and off? It sounds like a vapor-lock. Try this: first unhook the regulator and crack the valve on the tank open...if you hear and smell gas coming out, good, close the valve and re-connect the regulator then open the gas valve then turn the burner on and light it...then shut it off by closing the tank valve first and let the burners go out then turn off your burner valves...try that and let me know what happens.

My weber gas grill will not heat up past 300F

Hi John,

I just experienced the same exact problem ! I just bought a brand new Weber E-310 a 3 burner grill.
After I seasoned it up with cooking oil,I turned all the burners to high, opened the tank and clicked electrnic button several times , the grill was on then I went inside, I came out about an half-hour later and it was saying around 275 degrees..
I looked into my manual and there is a gas limit control valve that shuts down gas flow, when it thinks there is too much gas flow.

Sloution;
Turn the propane gas knob to off
Turn the gas grill knobs to Off.
Click the igniter several times to clear out any gas.
Then unscrew the regulator from the tank,( I then blew into the tank hole and regulator),
Screw back on the regulator to the propane tank.
I then clicked igniter again couple of times.
Now open your propane tank.
Then turn on front burner while clicking igniter, this will lite 1st burner.
Then turn 2nd burner on low then to high.
And if you have 3rd burner or more, turn low then to high!

John I did this and my grill went to 600 plus in a few minutes!!

The problem was turning the gas grill knobs on first then opening the tank then lighting...
You have to open propane tank with knobs off, THEN AS SOON AS YOU TURN ON 1ST KNOB, YOU MUST IGNITE ...
