Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
When i receive a text message from the contacts in my pphone it does not show there name it just shows there number even though i have them stored them in my phone how can i get it to display there names when i receive text messages.
Check the phone book entries...possible the names are appearing twice in the phonebook...or the format in which nos are saved could be diff from the format of numbers u get message ...eg : u might have stores only no and when u recieve msg it might come with a 0 or country code too

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Are the names in twice - once from the SIM and the phone memory - sometimes phones don't like it when there are 2 possible choices.
The other thing is that there could be an issue with the number formats. Is the incoming ID formatted in exactly the same way as the number in the phone xxx-xxxx or xxx xxxx

ATT should have looked to see if the internet service is turned off for that particular phone. If thats the case, you shall not send receive pictures. Thats the only the reason you should not be able to send receive pictures.
Call ATT again and ask them that. Sorry to say you might have got the high school dropout rehab person that day.

ok so this may sound really weird, but i massaged me keypad gently with my thumbs for a few minutes at a time and my whole keypad came back. I was texting with a wet hand and my whole keypad went wonky on me then i freaked out and came to this site. well i read a few of the soulution suggestions and mixed them. I turned off my phone and pressed the buttons one by one. Then i turned on my phone and pressed the only that would work so that the pone would get hot. Then i gently blew into the side of the phone in the crack that is the two halves of the phone and then i gently took both thumbs and massaged the keypad from zero to arrows. Soon i got my 6 to work then my 0 then all my numbers and my whole keypad came back to life quickly. I hope this works for someone else.
