Check the pitch slide switch it should be in 10 or 12 not PS. Slide it up & down a few times they do get dirty.

Be sure the pitch selection is correct. If it is set to PS when using a 10,12 or 15 pitch wheel it will select incorrect letters.

Why I can only type 15 letters in one line?

You probably have the right margin set there.
When you get to that point press but don't hold the mar rel key space to the location for the right margin press the R margin key.

Supertype 330 maximum characters went haywire. only managed to type up to 25 letters. any solutions?

You probably have the R. margin there. Go to that margin, press but don't hold the mar rel key space to desired location press R. mar key.

How do I adjust the keys on an Olympia Socialite manual so they can strike darker letters?

This is a manual typewriter, the harder you press the darker the print. You might try a fresh ribbon.

When typing does not print whole letter or doesn't print at all.

it would help if i knew exactly what model # we are talking about. but try this. look closely at your ribbon film after you type some characters. are the letters overlapping themselves? if so, press and hold the "code" key down while pressing the period key. let up and try typing. if that doesn't help, write back with model # and maybe i can assist further.

Code

Look for a key with a coloured symbol,ie,indicating "keyboard 1",or something similar. Hold the code key down and at the same time press your selected key. Order should be restored. If not, look up an Olympia dealer and they will help you over the phone. One thing for sure ,you have inadvertely selected a 2nd or 3rd keyboard setting to accommodate an other daisy-wheel/language. Good luck!
