Trying to remove faulty element and replace new one, unable to!! Service manual doesn't list instructions for remove and replace. It only has that for the door and door seal.
This tutorial will show you how to check your Smeg element and how to replace your Smeg cooker element.

See if you can lift the corner of the seal and see if there is a hook of some kind, if there is then all you do is unhook each corner, and remove seal, if no hooks, then it may be one of these tjhat is held in place by the the oven liner, and this is more of a tricky job to do.
Plz rate my solution.

SOURCE: There's no heat from my
One quick test would be to turn on the bake and shake the element a little. Sometimes the connection burns loose and by shaking the element you may breefly make connection and there would be a little heat. If that does not work you would have to take the element out and check continuity. (Turn the power off!) Next you need to trace the wiring. If you have an old mechanical thermostat you could have a burnt terminal. I forgot, first make sure you have 240 Volt going to the oven. Fans, clocks, lights will work on 120 V. but elements need 240 V.

Tips for a great answer:
Thank you for your post, Richard Gardner!
I understand that you need to replace the element inside of your Electrolux wall oven. I was unable to locate any specific step by step instructions on the removal and installation of your element. I have attached a copy of your parts manual and that provides a breakdown of all the available parts within your wall oven. If you need further assistance I would recommend having a professional technician out to properly remove the element and install the replacement part. I hope this information is helpful to some degree. -Matt
