My screen is sideways on my pc

Hi, Press ctrl + alt + plus the up arrow will usually turn it back. otherwise keep the ctrl = alt down and try the different arrows or the F1. One of those should do it. Cheers Barry.

The display turns sideways after start up routine has completed which affects the mouse control.

Please right-click on the desktop and click "Properties" or "Screen Resolution" and see if there is an option to change from "Portrait" to "Landscape."

My computer screen is turned sideways. How do i get it back to normal?

Some video cards support screen rotation. You may have accomplished this by pressing CTRL + ALT + Left Arrow. To change it back simply press CTRL + ALT + Up Arrow. If this does not work then try restarting. If that does not work you may have to change your view from Landscape to Portrait in you video card software program. If it is an Nvidia card then open display properties>>Settings>>nvrotate.

DISPLAYS ARE SIDEWAYS STRETCHED

This problem is because, when you formatted your PC, you have installed improper display driver of your PC model. This is also because of less capacity display/graphics card.

My desktop on my lenovo 0769 is turned sideways

That sounds like your video card drivers are set to rotate your screen. If you right click on your desktop away from any icons in the menu you should see the graphics card properties for your NVIDA/INTEL/ATI card depending on what is installed. You will just need to go through those screens to configure the drivers until you see the section for rotating the screen. Just set it back to normal once you locate it and hit apply.

If you do not see anything from a video card manufacture you can try clicking on proprieties in that same menu. You will see a new window called Display Properties and your driver settings could be here. Check the Settings take and the Advanced button if you are having problems finding it. Feel free to link to a screen shot of what you are seeing in the menus if you can not find the rotation settings.

Screen Display

The SiS 661FX is a chipset that has onboard video. Your motherboard manufacturer (or computer manufacturer if you have a name brand unit) should have the latest video drivers for your motherboard. Installing those drivers should fix the problem.

If you have already installed updated video drivers, post what you installed and where you got them from and we can go from there.

Monitor screen went sideways

Try the ALT key and the Up Arrow.
If that does not work, try CRT ALT UP and DOWN arrows till you can rotate your display.
