This is a problem with my tv- Panasonic Viera TC-P60ST30 not a laptop. The internet wi-fi connection is fine. The issue is that the Viera link connection is not working. How do I fix this. The HDMI cables and LAN cable are properly connected. The Blu Ray and all other connections are working.

Viera has a set-top box in the TV and the lan wifi router can be connected to cable plant for internet. TV can also send out programs on the set-top box to other wifi receivers. Error code 006 is server failed, Panasonic had a fix on jan11, 2012.

Also make sure you select the Windows XP version of the driver for your Windows operating system.

no you cannot replace the built-in wi-fi card...
if you try to change the drivers for atheros wi-fi to Broadcam driver, your wi-fi card will not function anymore.... but you can always install another WI-FI card in your laptop... you can buy a USB Adapter or a Cardbus(PCMCIA) adapter for this purpose...if you want your wi-fi signal strenth and range to be higher, you can opt to buy an adapter which comes under N standard....N standard wi-fi adapters are capable of connecting at a speed of more than 300mbps(practically) to any N standard device like router....
