Hi :)
I randomly pressed 3 buttons on the machine and it solved the error
1st was the "Setup" button
2nd was that weird little button just above the setup button but just below the up-down-left-right-&-Ok button, it's kinda like a back-arrow on a themed web-browser
3rd was the Ok button.

Magically it stopped the orange flashing and grumbly note on the tiny screen.

Now i just need to find how to get the computer to recognise there is ink in the totally new and heavy-with-ink cartridge.
Good luck and regards from
Tom :)

My printer prints every color but yellow, how do I fix this?

New cartridges? Either all five cartridges (if new) are no good or something is wrong with the electronic circuits that power the print cartridge.

You might also try removing all of the HP software for printer and reinstalling it.

Working with print cartridges
To ensure the best print quality from HP All-In-One, you will need to perform some simple maintenance procedures and when prompted by a message on the display replace the print cartridges.

Touching these parts can result in clogs, ink failure, and bad electrical connections.
7. Slide the new print cartridge forward into the empty slot. Then gently push on the upper part of the print cartridge forward until it clicks into the socket.
If you are installing the tri-color print cartridge, slide it into the left slot.

cartridges ensures high-quality output.

Lexmark x4850. swapped oem with non-oem black cartridge. will not print black now. message says warranty does not support non-lexmark and prints blank pages.

“Lexmark does not support the refilling of its ink cartridges. Refilling the ink cartridges can cause them to leak, thus clogging or even damaging the print head. Any damage to your printer caused by refilled ink cartridges may not be covered under warranty”. Please use genuine Lexmark cartridges for best results.
