There's a "Copy to Card" option available in the playback menu. Press the Playback button (right-pointing triangle), then press the MENU button. Use cursor-up/down to select "Copy to Card" and press SET.

SOURCE: how do i save the pictures to see them without a memory card

there is only a 16 MB internal memory built into the camera, which at 5 Million pixels will allow you 1 or 2 photos, so you will have to by an SD type card, i would suggest either a 512MB card or 1GB if you are taking pictures at the highest resolution.

SOURCE: Saving pictures

The camera has a very limited storage space on itself. It probably isnt saving the pictures on the card because the card is write protected (probably on accident)
just pull out the card and on it is a tiny little switch. just push that into the next position and it is no longer write protected. the write protection is there to prevent you from losing your photos, to put more photos on it you will have to deactive the protection with that switch, its usually white colored

SOURCE: CAN I DOWNLOAD MY PICTURES WITHOUT USB CORD AND JUST WITH A MEMORY CARD ?

Yes, if your computer has an SD card slot. Most newer desktops and nearly all laptops do. Your camera also has 16 mb of internal memory though. You won't be able to pull them off without the USB cord. The cord you need is cheap enough though. You can probably to to a local Goodwill store and pick through the boxes of cables and wires and computer stuff that has been donated and find one for very little.

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER
If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

Camera locks up with SD card

Put the SD memory card into an USB card reader and plug the card reader into the USB port of a working computer to check if the memory card is working.
If the computer cannot detect the memory card as an external storage device and cannot open the files or folders and it cannot be formatted in FAT32 then the SD memory card is faulty and needs to be replaced..

How do I copy pictures from the internal memory to the memory card?

Kerrisutton1,
Without knowing the exact Make and Moddel of the camera -- there are often 2 general routes pictures can be obtained from an internal memory.
1. With memory card in camera, go into your camera settings. 2. Within settings there should be a storage reader (which looks at your external card) and should be an additional option to copy files (note that most cameras have little internal memory as external cards are so cheap)
OR
1. Put camera in camera dock / charger with USB connection 2. connect camera with USB connection to computer 3. Go to Start -> My Computer -> [yourcamera] 4. Within your camera folder there will be a picture folder (different based on brands) that should house pictures that reside on internal memory.

I took a picture wihtout a CF card in the camera

When you take pictures without the internal card , they get stored inside the camera internal memory (usually 8 or 16 MB only).

Connect the camera to a computer using a data cable, without putting any memory card inside the camera. The camera internal memory will be displayed as a new external usb disk on computer.

i know its not ideal but why dont you borrow a friends camera and usb lead, put your card into their camera and upload them onto your computer via their camera, at least then you can save your special pictures and rectify the problem later

Unable to upload pictures from memory card to computer

Most laptops that have a memory card reader will only read these types of cards, without needing an adaptor: -SD card -MMC card -Sony Memory Stick or Memory Stick Pro cards -XD cards
However, you have a MS Pro Duo card, although it fits into the card reader slot, the card is a lot thinner than what's expected, so the laptop won't be able to read it.
You need to put the Pro Duo card into the stanard size MS Pro caard adaptor. See attached image.
Hope this helps.

Lost my usb cable

I don't know in which country you live (this is helpful to know!), but in most stores offering cameras and many offering electronic items, you should be able to procure a kit of adaptors that will include a cable to use with them.
In the US at least, Wal-Mart, Best buy, Circuit City and Radio Shack are likely sources.
Elsewhere (?) you are on your own.
