With PC and TV both off, connect the cable for the monitor to the back of the computer, then to the jack on the back of the TV. Turn the TV,then the PC on. Essentially, you're just replacing your monitor with the TV. However, you may need to select the input on the TV to accept the signal on the computer. Also, you may need to adjust the resolution on the computer in order to get a picture

Connect pc to tv

You will need a cable that connects the tv to the pc. If you pc has a vga connection and your tv has a vga connection, then you would purchase a vga cable and connect it. If the computer and the tv have 2 different types of connections you will need some type of adapter between the two of them.

Once you get them connected with a cable you just turn the tv on and Select Input (Select either PC, Computer, HDMI) of where the tv should receive the signal.

On the pc if you just reboot it most times the image will appear on the tv. if not you can Press and Hold your FN function key at the lower left portion of the keyboard then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the display. The correct F1 thru F12 key will have LCD/CRT on it or it will have the icon of a display.

Connect pc to tv.

Your TV will need an HDMI or VGA (15 pin) connector on the back, plus you'll need a matching connector on your PC. Get the right cable (eg VGA Male:Male) and connect them up. Then just set you TV input to PC.

Hi I'm trying to connect my laptop to play photographs through the TV screen using windows XP. No success at the moment. How do I connect up please? And can i get a manual for the TV anywhere...

For making the physical connection between PC and TV first we need video cable.
PC has S-Video port that should be connect to the S-Video input of your TV using S-Video cable.
Connect the computer to the TV using VGA ports or via the DVI to HDMI cable. These Macs need Adapter for a VGA cable.
RCA for audio, connect RCA to your PC and red and white colored sockets of RCA cable to TV (left audio-white, right audio-red).
In your PC open the Display Settings and activate output to the TV screen.
In your TV open the menu from that open the External inputs. And change the video to HDMI depends on the connection.
You can also change the screen resolution of your TV using the Personalize and Display Settings options in your Control Panel on PC.

After giving the connections you can watch the movies and everything is running on laptop on TV.

Hello

With either the PC IN or HDMI connection, you can watch

your computer's display on the TV and hear the sound from the
TV's speakers.

When connecting a PC to the PC IN terminal on the TV, use an
analog RGB (15-pin) computer cable and a PC audio cable.

To use a PC, set the monitor output resolution on the PC

before connecting it to the TV. The following signals can be
displayed:

Format Resolution V. Frequency

VGA 640 Ɨ 480 60Hz

SVGA 800 Ɨ 600 60Hz
XGA 1024 Ɨ 768 60Hz

Other formats or non-standard signals will not be displayed

correctly.

Note:

ā€¢ The PC audio input terminals on the TV are shared with the
HDMI-1 analog audio input terminals
ā€¢ Some PC models cannot be connected to this TV.
OK.

My TV (42" Full HD

Hi,

Yes you can - but not with a USB cable. USB is only for data (file) transfer.

What you are attempting to do is use your TV as a PC monitor, therefore it needs to be connected to your TV using a PC monitor cable (15-pin D-SUB/VGA). You will also need a separate audio cable from your PC to your TV if you want to use the TV speakers for audio. If you are using a receiver or amplifier with external speakers, you can connect the audio out from the PC directly to the amplifier/receiver.

It is also possible to connect the PC to the TV with an HDMI cable if your PC has an HDMI out port. However, some TVs wont accept an HDMI signal from a PC and this method of connection can cause other issues, so I would recommend using the PC monitor cable method.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Regards,
BElectric
