The drive nut may have broken loose or just broke. Short of opening the seat upholstery there is not much that can be done. At least since you are hearing the motor, the wiring should fine. It uses the same fundamentals as the seat positioning mechanism uses.

An upholstery shop might be your best bet to get the upholstery covering off intact with minimal damage so the mechanism itself can be reworked/repaired and seat frame repaired as needed.

The problem with cleaning solvents or spray lubricants is the potential for the foam seat form to get damaged- or worse- permanent smell.

SOURCE: Wheels locking up when turning sharply left or right

Could be one of several problems in the rear diff.
It depends if its the optional locking rear diff and it's stuck locked, or it is the limited slip and something inside caused it to lock.

See a mechanic before you do more damage.

Power seat motor is stuck will not move

Hello, Before you tear out the seat motor, you might want to check the motor switch. If the switch is loose in the door panel, it might not be moving enough to make contact. Normally, motors do not heal themselves.

My 2007 buick rainier is stuck in park how do i fix this

There is an eclectric release on the brake pedal do you hear a click when the vehicle is running and you apply the brake if not check fuses. If all fuses are ok then you will have to take the console apart there will be an electric switch on the shifter check for power going to it. If there is power replace switch if you have no power I would consult your dealer. Hope this helps.

Power seat works sometimes

It may be the switch is failing and needs to be replaced. However, it is not unusual for the motor moving the seat forward and back to jam on the running teeth attached to the seat. If, when you use the switch, you can either feel or hear the motor trying to run, then it is probably a mechanical problem under the seat. This can have a few causes - something on the teeth that should not be there, alignment of the motor to the teeth (maybe loose bolts), etc. If this is the case, the only way to troubleshoot this is to remove the bolts holding the seat frame to the floor, then using the motor move the seat as far back as it will go, then tip the seat forward and inspect the motor and gears underneath.
