Question about Nokia 7610 Handheld

1 Answer

Virus messages being sent automatically

Spurious picture messages are being sent by my phone automatically; some are failed & some successful. All the numbers sent to are not known to me. Think I picked up a virus in Marrakech when blue tooth was on. When I delete the failed messages from the outbox they are deferred, rather than deleted. How can I stop my phone from sending these spurious picture messages?

Cannot receive photos from other cell phones

A few factors could cause this. Does anything come through when a message is sent. Do you get any error messages from this. Are you able to send picture messages?

Have you checked your memory space? If yor running low on memory the phone will automatically delete call logs and possibly messages in order to make more memory available. If you have a memory card installed try moving your pictures and all the other extemporaneous files to the memory card and see if your problem continues.

HI I am not sure your question but I can tell that your phone is ok but the prepaid service need to be reset. This case, only Vodafone can help you since the pre-paid phone has been locked by them. this is probably virus cause but I am not 100% sure since your phone is still locked to vodafone as a pre-paid unit. This set needs to have vodafone service and they may have their own software to reset the service for you. I hope this will help.
