SOURCE: I have xerox workcentre xd105f, can't make copies

Locate the area where the machine jams, if it regularly jams in the same place then it is a locailsed problem. Check for torn paper in the paper path, degraded rollers, or if it is behind a door, check that the door closes properly and square. I have found my Xerox printer jammed because the magnetic catch that holds the door shut detached itself from the door and stuck to the body of the printer meaning the door didn't close squarely as it should.

Hope this helps

Why this message appears Firewire communication failure?

Perhaps one of the connects on the cable came free? someone did cut the cable? The Firewire controller in the Workcentre or in the computer is faulty?
Lots of things you should try, by exchanging the things I mentioned.

Xerox workcentre pro 55 pcl xl error

We have a WorkCentre 7655 that has been working fine for ages but is now causing some issues. A user who is running Windows 7 32 bit edition is sending files to print (using the secure print function) - the system is reporting they have spooled fine to the printer - but when they go and release the document they are getting (more often than not) about 16 out of 21 pages (for example) and then a PCL XL Error (Subsystem: Text, InternalError 0x50, Operator: Text, Position: 8564). I have another document that 9 times out of ten will actually crash the WorkCentre completely and cause it to reboot mid way through printing.

The driver we are using is the latest: "Xerox WorkCentre 7655 rev 2.0 PCL6"

As mentioned the user is running Windows 7 - the printer is shared from a Windows 2003 Server which has the same version of the driver.
