You may have change the pincushion for the monitor.
go to manu>geogetry> and reajust the pincushing, so it is stright on the side.
and you can also adjust the vertical and horizontal to the best fix.

How do i enlarge my picture on my t.v.

Not all programs were made for wide screen TV's. This not a defect nor will stretching the top or sides fill the screen. Look on your remote to see if there's a button marked view mode or something similar. Use this button to make the picture bigger but you may not like the results. If the program you're viewing was shot in 4:3 aspect ratio then there will always be a black bar at the top and bottom of the screen

Red light on - no picture

Hi that could be anything. If the screen is just black no lights at all I would guess one of the sustain baords those are located on the right and left sides of the tv. The y-sus would be my first guess If you are getting a dim light on your screen then it's provably your signal board. The signal board is the one were the tuner connects to.

Picture size don't go to the sides about 3" black

go under the display settings you probably have it set to native mode which if it was set up for non wide screen televisions will display with black border on the left and the right. You will need to change modes if you want the black to disappear

I have a 10 year old jvc model av27120 serial number 1251053, my 2 year old grandson touched the buttons on the front of the set and now a black rectangle keeps popping up in the middle of the picture. Can...

Sounds like 'picture in picture' was turned on. And if there is no 2nd video source, it shows up as a black rectangle. Find a button that is labelled PIP or similar and press it, maybe several times. It may move the PIP around the screen before turning it off.

When I turn on the camera, the screen remains black and only menu items appear. I can look at pics on the memory stick. Everything else seems to work.

Try pressing the button on the bottom right of the screen. It's got a little box beside it. If that doesn't work, my guess is it's a hardware problem. Try taking a picture with it eventhough you can't see what you're taking a picture of. Then see if it comes out black.

Av-32f476 picture shrinkage

I had a Crummy Westinghouse TV that had a problem like this. JVC's are typically better built then a Westinghouse. My first educated guess - sounds like it's a voltage issue, most likely on the high voltage. Probably a capacitor on the power supply side of the motherboard or the capacitor in the flyback transformer. Just and educated guess.

Size of screen

If you have black panel os sides the picture is not HD. Not allways the HD broadcasting have HD shows. The advertising for example is not HD. Check the picture size in the tv to be "allonged" and play with the screen size with your cable box remote. Usually is # button.
From what I know LC42D62U has no TV Guide feature.
