Question about Canon imageRUNNER 5000 Copier

2 Answers

E000014-0000 We have a Canon imageRunner 5000 that has continuously displayed this error code. I have tried to clear it using the "clear" trick but it keeps coming back over and over again. Can you tell me what the code refers to?

I have the same problem as of today. I turned off the copier yesterday, turned it on today and all is fine while the printer is warming up. As soon as the printer is warm, the Error code: E000014-0000 comes up. I have

unplugged the copier to allow it to reset and that did not correct it. I would

appreciate any help in resolving this major inconvenience. Thank you.

I have the same error code (E000014-0000) and the machine will not reset. The solution I found on-line is not very clear.

ERROR CODE E000350 001...

This is a fuser/thermistor error. You may have to get it serviced, but try to reset the error code using the following:
Enter the service mode (Press "Additional Function" key, Press "2" and "8" simultaneously, press "Additional Function" key again).
Go to COPIER----FUNCTIONS-----CLEAR----ERR. Here you can reset all error codes on by one.

ERROR CODE E000004-0001 IN 8070IR COPIER

This is error given by the thermistors in the fuser. Not detecting a temp change or too much temp difference between the thermistor ( front edge and Middle ). You can reset it by going into service mode. Press additional functions, then 2 and 8 at the same time, then additional functions. Press copier, then function at the top of the display, CLEAR, then ERR, then OK. Power down the copier using main power switch. Wait a few seconds then power up again. If the error continues then you will have to have the thermistors replaced if the heater is working. The heater should give an E000 code if not heating up.

I have problem canon ir 5000 e355,,....please help me

How to clear the error code:
1. Enter Service Mode: Press * Additional Functions, 2&8 simultaneously, then * Additional Functions again.
2. Then select the [COPIER] option. Under [COPIER], select the Function tab.
3. Under the [FUNCTION] tab, select the [CLEAR] option.
4. In [CLEAR] there is a selection E355-CLR. Select it and hit OK.
5. Reboot the machine.
If the error occurs again:
1. Make sure the connection is secure and tight to the Main-Controller board from the connector cable to the Serial Number board below.
2. Reseat the Main-Controller board into its slot.
3. Go into service mode and clear the error code as explained above.
* If the error still continues, you probably have a bad Serial Number board and it needs to be replaced.
