Pressure Roller Jam

I have a Riso 3700 copier/printer. The pressure which sits under the ink drum seems to be jammed in the up position. Is there a way to reset this roller? I cannot put the drum back into the printer without resolving this.
Thank you so much!!!!

If you open the back of the machine you will see a very large spring..
if you follow that spring you see a lever that sits on the cam of the main grear. pull the lever upward (some force may be required) and you will feel it lock!
that will reset your press roller

I have a Dell 1320c printer and there is a part that I need to replace but I have n idea what it is called. When you open the front it is on the very top. It is the last roller the paper goes through

the last set of rollers are fuser rollers you have a heat roller and a pressure roller the pressure roller is made of rubber and the heat roller is made of aluminium.from the your question im guessing that the paper is wrapped around the heat roller. if this roller has scratches in the serface it does need replacingalso if the pressure roller is damaged it also will cause a papetr jam.
also you should check that all of the picker fingers are all in place and clean.

I have a Riso RP3700 that we have been running NCR paper on. But the pass few months I have been getting jams after a few runs of the NCR it is always the pink copy that get jam on the drum. Can someone...

All you have to do is to ensure the image is pushed down the page. Either on your graphics software or on the RP3700 itself and by using the image offset function. Try 2mm at first.
If the image is too close to the margin the paper has trouble releasing from the drum as the ink makes it stick to drum. The little hook cant then get under the paper hence jam.
I am confident this will work.

Risograph rz220 paper not feeding

If paper is fluttering while feeding, what is actually happening is that the pressure solenoid doesn't activate. This is caused by paper dust on the paper sensor.
Take the drum out...notice the white guide roller on the left side inside the is held on with a white e-clip that can be removed by hand. The paper sensor sits just behind this roller. Remove with a phillips screwdriver and clean the sensor.

I have a Riso RP3700 and no matter what i do the black drum has dry spots. i have shaken the drum, i have sprayed it with wd40 and i have banged my head against the wall. none of these have resolved the...

Cleaning with WD40 sometimes won't give you good result. Do this following method.
1. Removed the silk screen and soaked it in kerosene and dry it with cloth, check any foreign materials between the two screen.
2. Since silk screen is removed clean also the drum cylinder the metal parts with cloth and kerosene.
3.Check the pressure roller, this roller is located under the drum. This roller press the paper into the drum. Uneven roller cause the image not even specially the middle part of the copy.
4. Lastly, if all the above solution fails you need to dismantle all the silk screen ang the metal screen ang clean the roller inside the drum and adjust the thickness of ink by adjusting the squeegee roller distance between the doctor roller. Used metal filer gauge the distance should be 0.3 - 0.5mm.

Riso Rz 220 copies are coming out to light.

1)You can set the dencity of the riso on the controll panel before you do your masters.
2)Always use original ink.
3)If you are a bit technical you can remove the pressure roller and strip all old ink buildup from it.was it with water ann soap.
If you open the drum and take it out completely, the pressure roller is the black roller inside the machine that put directly pressure on the drum. There is only one screw to loosen and then it hooked out,but it can be tricky to hook it back if you not doing it every day.
