SOURCE: Problem in formatting Creative MuVo V200 MP3 player FM Voice Recorder 1 GB

The below was copyed from an earlier post of mine. Over a period of time your info can get corrupt from transering music back and forth. To format plug it in to usb. Go to my computer It shows up as a removably disc, usually drive f: Right click on drive f: (or the approriate drive) and click format. Let me know what happens, you will have reload the player, also try bypassing the software you are using to tranfer, by opening up drive f: and clicking and dragging your music into it , or you can copy and paste it into drive f: L8R

SOURCE: DISK ERROR WHEN I TRY TO USE MP3

I had the same issue and just connected the device to my computer USB connection and performed a quick format on the drive and it now works. You will be warned that reformatting the drive will erase all the data, which will happen. But you can simply reload your music and be back in business... Rod

Why my sansa c250 does not record the voice in mp3, only in wma?

Unfortunately, Sandisk didn't include any options in their firmware to record in any other format.

If you happen to have a version 1 c250 then you can install Rockbox on it and have 4 recording format options, as well as being able to choose what bitrate to record in for the mp3 format.

To find out if your player is a v1 go to Settings -> System Info
If the version starts with 01 then it's a v1 player and you can install Rockbox on it. If it starts with 03 then it's a v2 player and you're stuck with the wav format, as Rockbox is not yet available for v2 c250 players.

RECORD

Hey EMURK72,

According to information provided by the manufacturer, you should be able to enable voice recording by following the steps below:

1) Press the menu button ("M") twice to enter the main menu.

2) Press the "+" or "-" button to highlight "Voice Recording," then press the next track button to advance.

3) Press the "+" or "-" button to highlight "Record," then press the next track button to enter voice recording mode.

4) If you press the "●" button when the display screen says "Ready," you should then be able to start voice recording.

5) You can press the "Play/Pause" button to pause and resume recording.

6) Pressing the "●" button a second time stops recording.

If you'd like more information or step-by-step instructions that include visual aides, you may wish to refer to your owner's manual.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron
