SOURCE: Can't work wireless mouse Daytona II

You have to plug in the usb receiver thingy.

Put the batteries in mouse and turn it on by switching the bottom from off to on.

There's a button the usb receiver. Push it. It will start flashes, turn over the mouse and you'll see a "connect" button. Push it.

a warning though, the product isn't good. everybody seems to be having issues with it & they cant get help from the makers of the product; so if you can, I would return it from wherever you bought it from. I got mine from walmart last night and I will be returning it tomorrow and exchanging it for a whole new different product

Mouse will freeze using Ubunto linux

Hook the mouse up to another computer. If it works without freezing then you'll need to go into Ubuntu and see what programs start up when you go into Ubuntu and disable some of them so it frees up memory.

If the mouse freezes up on another computer then the batteries are going weak and you'll need to replace them.

I can't get Wenger Daytona wireless mouse working and try to load drivers on new laptap windows 7. The drivers automatically downloaded by windows 7 but computer does not reconize it. Please help.

Remove the drivers from the system.

Go to start, control panel, programs and features, and remove them, should say wenger.

Now after the drivers are uninstalled, go to there website and download the drivers for win 7, if it did not come with them, or use the disk if it came with one.

Install the drivers provided by the company and not what windows loaded.

Follow the directions, when you plug this in, do not let windows load the drivers, see if the directions allow you to load the drivers then plug in the unit, and make sure when windows loads them it is the driver from the company.

You can check after by going to, start, and type in devise, in the list you will see devise MGR, open it and find the mouse under mouse,
expand it and look for the brand you installed.

Right click on wenger or what ever it says and click properties, and then click on the driver tab.

It should say under the driver tab, wenger, if it says windows, it loaded windows driver and not the driver from the company.

Can't use dropdown menus anymore

NOTE: I have Vista Ultimate, so hopefully this works for those who have XP!

Okay i had this problem but I went to Dell and downloaded this driver

http://support.us.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R141725&formatcnt=1&libid=0&fileid=189126.

Either click this link provided or copy into browser.

Download, install, and restart.

I hit the connect button on moth the USB and the mouse at the login screen, clicked the mouse button, and VIOLA, it worked!

Scrolling works, drop down menu's and the forward and back buttons on the mouse work as well!

Hope this helps to those who have experienced this little hiccup.
