Question about Panasonic CT-30WX54 30" TV
I know how to access the service menu and such, and I can change the screen settings in 420i, but I have no clue how to change the highlighted (red) 420i to the 420p option or the 1080i option. What I want to do it switch it to 1080i and edit the width of the screen. All I can do right now it edit the width of the 420i setting, seeing that I dont know how to change the resolution.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

If you have a problem with the convergence, believe me, going into the service menu and trying to correct it will only give you large headaches, DO NOT USE THR SERVICE MENU UNLESS YOU ARE A TRAINED TECH!!!! Doing so can result in a complete and total failure of this TV set. I service menu is not for any major changes in any adjustment. It is not the cure all. If your convergence all of a suddenly shifted, it is not a service menu issue. Your problem is the convergence amp IC's. Good Luck

I had the same problem and found that I was viewing the TV input instead of the composite input. Once I changed it back, the aspect setting would hold.

The problem was with the cable/sky decoder. I changed the aspect ratio on the decoder not the tv.
The TV was not the problem.
The problem is that the decoder is sending a 4:3
picture to the tv this needs to be changed to 16:9 in the set up menu on

Had the same problem today. Thought is was my bulb. Replaced it but still had the color problem. Replaced the cables between cable box and TV and no more problem!
