SOURCE: Electrolux Super J model, bag light stays on and

Have you checked the screen filter below the bag? This sometimes gets clogged with fuzz and whatnot, resulting in the vacuum shutting off. To clean it simply remove the bag and use a pick or similar item.
A clogged hose will also result in the same problem. Try running without the hose. If the vacuum runs without the hose a blockage in the hose is a probability. However there could be a clog in the power nozzle above the brush, as well. Check the suction at the end of the hose. If very little there's a good possibility this is the problem. Double check by dropping coin in one end and allowing to drop through. If it doesn't there's a clog. It can usually be cleared by plugging the hose into the exhaust port and turning the machine on. Be sure the other end is inside a large plastic bag.
Visually check wands to ensure they're clear. If not, push clog out with a broom stick.

SOURCE: Bought a used Electrolux canister

My first guess would be that the switch insidet the bag door is not pushed in (or missing).

The cardboard frame around the bag is supposed to push it in when the bag is properly positioned and the bag door is closed. The switch may be missing or loose.

The switch is there to make sure you don't run the vacuum without a bag.

good luck.

SOURCE: my electrolux twin clean won't turn on

What you might have done is burned out the cable that supplies the power to the actual working of the machine. This happened to be and I had to end up replacing the internal components which took a lot of time, and money. You are better off trying to get a new one and selling this one online for parts.

Electrolux ultraactive vacuum won't start

Hi There, The E2 error is caused by the terminal block pins where the hose plugs into the vacuum become bent out of shape. This is the receiving pins at the front of the vacuum on the inside. If what I am saying is confusing then it probably needs to go to a technician, it is a 10 minute job to fix if you have done it before. There is also a slim possibility that you may need a new hose for it too. If you are in Melbourne I can fix it I run the VacuumSpot business.

My Electrolux Rapido wet&dry won't start. The battery is empty and the blue light flashes when I plug in the charger.

this sounds totally silly but is the power button on the vacuum actually off? Had the same problem, where the battery was completely empty i didn't know my son had switched the vacuum on put it on charge and the light was flashing. I took it off the charging stand pressed the power button then put it back....now charging perfectly. Anyone who doesnt have this appliance will think you sound stupid but its just a clicky button so visually the button looks the same on or off.

I have an electrolux discovery II vacuum cleaner and the floor function works, but when I try to switch over to carpet mode, it doesn't seem to engage.

There is a red reset button on the back of the machine. When it trips, the brush won't engage. Press the reset button and then try your machine again.
