SOURCE: gas lines have fallen apart

Fuel line from tank to carb. is usually only four or five inches long. I recommend buying a foot of new line in different sizes. Carb. idle screws generally one in a half turns out for a good start position. May have to fine tune them a little bit more or less.

SOURCE: I have a Poulan 2000 chainsaw that I tried to

Start with "H" and "L" needle valves 1.5 turns CCW from lightly seated. Then tune for performance like this.

CW is leaner; to lean will destroy the saw. If over tightened closed (CW) the adjustment screw faces are easily marred; marred adjustments are difficult to impossible to set properly.
Clean the air filter; adjusting with a dirty filter can cause a run lean condition once cleaned and the saw run.

There are 2 wav (sound - idle & full – may not be highlighted) files that I find most helpful, I think you will too. Good Luck. HTH

What is the proper carberator adjustment

Start with 1 full turn out from the closed position on both the idle and high speed mixture screws. After the engine has warmed up, hold the throttle wide open and adjust the high speed mixture screw until the engine runs at the highest RPM then turn the screw counter-clockwise about 1/8 turn.
Next, turn the low speed mixture screw in whichever position gives the best idle.
After making these adjustments, check the throttle response. If the engine hesitates when applying the throttle, turn the low speed mixture screw counter-clockwise about 1/8 turn.

Saw wont rev up or idle

First thing, try new gas.
If that doesn't do it, you need to adjust the low and high speed circuits on the carb. A good starting point is 1.5 turns out from fully seated. On that saw I'm not positive if you will have access to the adjustment screws unless you pull off the plastic caps that may be covering them.

How to adjust carberator

Some Husqvarna carbs require a special screwdriver to adjust them, some just use a mall flat head tuning screwriver.

Screw both H and L screws in. Then turn them out anticlockwise the following amounts to return them to standard.

H 3/4of a turn L1 full turn (Chainsaws)

Some equipment like blowers and strimmers are:-
H 2 1/4 turns out L 2 1/4 turns out

Carberator adjustments

As you have not said what machine this is, most carbs will run on a basic setting of one and a quarter turns out on the H and the L screw, you will need to fine adjust from there, they are both fuel, not air screws, so the more you unscrew them the richer the mixture gets, the L screw will adjust the mixture from idle up th.o half throttle, and the h screw will control from half to full throttle including the max rpm.

1. Make certain the water supply valve is turned on. Check the inlet hose for any kinks or bends in the line that could prevent unit from filling properly. Check drain hose for proper installation. If water drains immediately, unit will display an IE Error Code.
2. Check the water supply valve and make certain that it is turned on and open fully or this code will display.
3. Check the inlet valve filter for buildup of mineral deposits. If the inlet valve filter is clogged it will restrict water flow is restricted into the dishwasher, resulting the IE Error. Clean filter with small brush to remove any accumulated mineral deposits that may have accumulated.
4. If inlet hose is kinked, water flow into the dishwasher, is restricted resulting the IE Error. Straighten any bends or kinks in the inlet hose. If the drain hose is not installed properly and the water drains out of unit, this could cause premature draining, which results in IE Error Code. In this case it will be necessary to reinstall the drain hose according the instructions in the installation guide.
5. If the water pressure is not 20 - 120 psi, water will not fill properly. This will result in IError Code. If water pressure is too low, it may be necessary to call for service.
6. During winter, parts of the dishwasher that are installed outside may freeze. Melt the frozen part by soaking a towel in warm water and wrapping it around the part. This should allow the dishwasher to operate.
7. If the unit is not leveled properly, the IE Error may occur. Use a level to check the sides and top of the unit. If the unit is not level, adjust the leveling feet in the front and back. Use the leveling kit packaged with the dishwasher. Check mounting brackets. If one is tightened more than the other, it will offset the cabinet.
* Note: To adjust leveling legs on the front, use a 1/4" square drive wrench. Turn clockwise as needed to adjust level. To adjust rear legs, use a standard Phillips head screw driver. On the left side rear, turn the screw counterclockwise to lower the leg and raise the rear. To adjust right side rear, turn the adjusting screw clockwise to lower the leg and raise the rear of dishwasher. Using a level while adjusting the legs will help aid in proper leveling.
