Do not turn on your pc until you complete the next steps you may damage your pc in a critical way CPU is running to hot remove the fan you will find a large silver chip should either be covered in white paste or silver paste if this substance is hard clean off with contact cleaner( do not remove the chip) also clean off the bottom of the fan in the same way go on eBay buy some thermal grease comes in sachets or syringes whit or silver which is the best use one sachet or one syringe cover the chip evenly replace the fan boot up if this still happens then you may have cooked the CPU or mother board

SOURCE: HP rp5000 desktop keeps shutting

You need to open the case and watch the CPU fan. If the fan is not spinning or is spinning slowly it will need to be replaced. Take the computer into your local computer repair shop so they know which processor fan you have for a suitable replacement.

You may notice a large amount of dirt and dust build-up around the heat sink and fan. You can either buy a can of compressed air and give it a blast or take it to your local garage and use an air hose or tyre inflater to blast the dirt and dust from the entire case.

How can i remove bios password from my hp rp5000

The simple answer is open the BIOS page and clear the pass word. Press F1 or F2 or what ever your computer requires. Maybe F8 or F9 ...

If this doesn't work, yo can open the bottom (probably where the hard drive is located) and disconnect the small battery.

I have an rp5000 pc that beeps five times, pauses and beeps again five times repeatedly

If you have the software that came with the printer, go to the next step.
If you do NOT have the software, go to the HP support site & download it.
Then uninstall all software relating to the printer.
Unplug the printer from the power and the usb from the printer to the computer.
Reboot the computer.
Install the software & follow the onscreen instructions.

Hello i have hp rp5000 pc which have AGP port onboard but when i put graphic card in it it doesnt recognized it. I tried with another hp rp5000 bios but it doesnt work anyway-is there anysolution?

Erm, although the slot is labelled AGP1 (HEY HP Accelerated GRAPHICS Port 1 ???), it is not for a graphics card.
It is intended for an enhanced USB card that adds additional USB ports as well as 12volt and 24volt outputs.
The RP5000 was designed to be a POS (point of sale) unit and the additional ports were for devices such as barcode readers, handscanners and card readers to be plugged into.
