The RAM may not be working.
Try removing the RAM module/s and and cleaning the gold contacts with methylated spirits then replace the RAM module/s. If the computer still does not boot, then remove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop and get them to test your RAM.

Won't turn on, no lights, no nothing

I guess you need some electronic testers that most probably you don't have because assume you are not a computer tech. Should you have another laptop of similar characteristics, you could test the charger else I see no other option but visit the computer shop where you bought your new charger and get them verify the device as part of warranty

My dell inspiron 1525 wont even come on when i press the start button, nothing?

Hi Jerrel Castille,

Request you to try following the below steps which might help:

    (1)Turn off the computer.
(2)Remove all the external peripherals like AC Adaptor, flash drives, battery, etc.
(3)Press and hold the power button for 30sec which releases the static on the computer (if any)
(4)Put back the battery and plug in the AC Adaptor.
(5)Let the computer charge for some time.
Now try turning on the computer. If still same issue then check if there are any series of beep codes emitted from the computer and see if there is a Power/ Battery status light glowing near the front (touchpad) of it.

Lights come on and off d610 the power lights come on and then go out no video no anything

Usually a bad motherboard will cause this, however, don't overlook a bad battery or charger. Even a bad USB device can cause this. Remove the CD player and all USB connections, then try again. Check the battery charge by pushing the button on the bottom. If there is a red light, then it is bad. If there are no lights then it is not charged. Also, check to see if your charger has a light on. If it does, try booting without a battery. Finally, try booting with the battery only (if it has a charge).

Is the voltage meter directly on the Battery?? What model Dell is it?? I have found that on the D800 models for some reason the connection from the power button to the Motherboard comes loose. You need to remove the Keyboard cover to check this.

While charging my O2 atom exec, the LED (Flash light) does not glow red ?

I have the same problem. What I did several time is to actually shut down the phone, remove the battery and leave it like that for several hours (3 to 4 hours). Then, I put the battery back in the phone, and it would charge again. However, due to the long time with no battery, the phone's clock would be reset to January 2007.

I found no other work around right now. However, I have to do this more and more often, almost once a week ...
