I have an All-in-one Cannon MX340 and can't seem to recognize my cartridges when I changed, but someone suggested to go through the printer's software to do cleaning of the nozzles and the alignment tests, and to turn it off for a while then back on, I started with the off option, waited about 20' then ran the cleaning process through the software, I think I'll have to change my cartridges at this point because I had the problem for a few months and never found time to deal with it, but try that since your cartridges are new and see how it works.

I started by opening the devices/printers from the start menu, then opening by double clicking on the problem printer the closest thing I found was the "solutions menu" then I clicked "settings or find solutions" item at which point I could see 4 options: diagnose and repair, setting, status, & troubleshooting; I went for status because it showed a color graph, but settings also had a maintenance tab for ink settings.

Hope you find your answer, good luck.

How to replace catridges for Epson Stylus Office T40W??

Hi,

Good day. I hope this steps can help you in replacing your cartridges. This how i remember doing it. Just follow these steps.

>Make sure the power light is on, but not flashing.
>Open the printer cover and the output tray.
>Press the ink button. The ink cartridge holder moves to the ink cartridge check position and the
power light begins to flash.
>Press the ink button again. If more than one ink cartridge is expended or low, the ink cartridge holder moves to the mark. This
occurs each time you press the ink button until all expended or low ink cartridges have been
indicated. Once all of the expended or low ink cartridges have been indicated, the ink cartridge
holder
moves to the ink cartridge replacement position when you press the ink button. >Open the cartridge cover and place the ink cartridge into the cartridge holder with the bottom down.
Then push down the ink cartridge until it clicks into place. Then close the cartridge cover
>Press the ink button and then the printer moves the ink cartridge holder and begins charging the
ink delivery system

Hope this will help you a bit with your ink cartridge replacement problem. Have a great day.

Replacing Ink Cartridges Make sure you have a new ink cartridge before you begin. You must install new cartridges immediately after removing the old ones. Caution: Do not open ink cartridge packages until you are ready to install the ink. Cartridges are vacuum packed to maintain reliability. Note: Leave the expended cartridge installed until you have obtained a replacement, or the ink remaining in the print head nozzles may dry out. 1. Turn on your printer. 2. If an ink cartridge is expended, the error and ink lights on the control panel stay on. 3. Open the document cover, then open the ink cover. Caution: Do not remove the ink cartridge guard or you may damage the printer.24 Maintaining Your Printer 4. Press the y Stop button. If a cartridge is low or expended, the print head moves that cartridge to the replacement position to indicate that it should be replaced. The P Power light starts flashing. If no cartridges are low or expended, the print head does not move. Note: Do not hold the y Stop button for more than three seconds, or the printer may start cleaning the print head. 5. Squeeze the tab on the cartridge and lift it up. Dispose of it carefully. Do not take the used cartridge apart or try to refill it. Warning: If ink gets on your hands, wash them thoroughly with soap and water. If ink gets into your eyes, flush them immediately with water. Keep ink cartridges out of the reach of children.Replacing Ink Cartridges 25 6. Before you open the new cartridge package, shake it gently four or five times. Then remove the cartridge from the package. Caution: Do not touch the green chip on the front of the cartridge. This can damage the ink cartridge. 7. Insert the new ink cartridge into the holder and push it down until it clicks into place. 9. Press the y Stop button. If another cartridge is low or expended, it moves to the replacement position. Repeat steps 5 through 8 to replace any other cartridges that need to be replaced. When you press the y Stop button and no other cartridges need to be replaced, the print head moves to its home position and the printer starts priming the ink. This takes about 1 1/2 minutes.26 Maintaining Your Printer When the P Power light stops flashing and the error and ink lights go out, ink charging is finished. 10. Close the ink cover, then close the document cover. Caution: Never turn off the your Epson printer while ink is charging or you'll waste ink. How to replace the ink cartridge

1. Look at the indicator light on your Lexmark printer. You'll need to replace ink cartridges when the light flashes or turns red instead of the standard green.

2. Purchase Lexmark ink cartridges. You can buy the brand name or purchase a generic version that is compatible with your printer. You can shop for low cost ink cartridges from ABC Ink.

3. Remove the old cartridges from your printer. Grip the sides of the Lexmark ink cartridges and pull it out. Dispose of the ink cartridges in a recycle program like the one at Staples or save the cartridges for refill.

4. Install the new ink cartridges after removing the protective tabs. Avoid touching the IC chip when installing the new Lexmark ink cartridges. Replace the cover of the printer.

5. Allow the Lexmark printer to run a nozzle test. Print several pages with the new ink cartridges to make sure you installed the ink cartridges correctly. The indicator light should return to a solid green color.

I don't know how to change the ink cartridge of epson tx 110

Replace Ink Cartridges
Your Epson Stylus NX110 Series and its software will let you know when an ink cartridge is low or expended.
If ink is low, the ink light flashes. You can continue printing until a cartridge needs replacement.
If a cartridge is expended, the ink light stays on. You must replace the cartridge to be able to print.
SEE IMAGE BELOW
Warning:
Keep ink cartridges out of the reach of children and do not drink the ink.
Note:
If you need to change a cartridge before it or any other cartridges are low or expended, run the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility.

You cannot print or copy when an ink cartridge is expended even if the other cartridges are not expended. Replace any expended cartridges before printing or copying.

Leave your old cartridges in the Epson Stylus NX110 Series until you are ready to
replace them to prevent the print head nozzles from drying out.
When an installed ink cartridge is more than six months old, you may need to replace it if your printouts do not look their best, even after cleaning and aligning the print head.
Follow the instructions in these sections to check and replace your ink cartridges:
