Why are all my ink cartridge lights on after I have replaced them

Good day. I hope this steps can help you in replacing your cartridges. This how i remember doing it. Just follow these steps.

>Make sure the power light is on, but not flashing.
>Open the printer cover and the output tray.
>Press the ink button. The ink cartridge holder moves to the ink cartridge check position and the
power light begins to flash.
>Press the ink button again. If more than one ink cartridge is expended or low, the ink cartridge holder moves to the mark.This
occurs each time you press the ink button until all expended or low ink cartridges have been
indicated. Once all of the expended or low ink cartridges have been indicated, the ink cartridge
holder
moves to the ink cartridge replacement position when you press the ink button. >Open the cartridge cover and place the ink cartridge into the cartridge holder with the bottom down.
Then push down the ink cartridge until it clicks into place. Then close the cartridge cover
>Press the ink button and then the printer moves the ink cartridge holder and begins charging the
ink delivery system

Make sure that the printer is on. The power light should be on, but not flashing. Open the printer cover. Press the maintenance button. The print head moves to the black or color ink cartridge replacement position, the power light begins to flash, and the error light begins to flash or remains on. When both cartridges are out of ink, the print head moves to the black ink cartridge replacement position first. After replacing the black cartridge, press the maintenance button again to switch to the color cartridge replacement position. Lift up the ink cartridge clamp as far as it will go. The cartridge rises partly out of the cartridge holder. Lift the cartridge out of the printer and dispose of it properly. Do not take the used cartridge apart or try to refill it. Remove the new ink cartridge from its protective bag. Next, remove only the yellow tape seal from the cartridge. Do not touch the green IC chip on the side of the cartridge. Place the ink cartridge into the ink cartridge holder, and then close the ink cartridge clamps. Do not apply excessive force to the cartridge. Close the printer cover. Press the maintenance button. The printer moves the print head and begins charging the ink delivery system. This process takes about thirty seconds to complete. Replacing Ink Cartridges Make sure you have a new ink cartridge before you begin. You must install new cartridges immediately after removing the old ones. Repeat steps 5 through 8 to replace any other cartridges that need to be replaced. When you press the y Stop button and no other cartridges need to be replaced, the print head moves to its home position and the printer starts priming the ink. This takes about 1 1/2 minutes.26 Maintaining Your Printer When the P Power light stops flashing and the error and ink lights go out, ink charging is finished. 10. Close the ink cover, then close the document cover. Caution: Never turn off the your Epson printer while ink is charging or you'll waste ink. If the error and ink lights remain on after the print head moves into its home position, an ink cartridge may not be installed properly. Press the y Stop button again, and then press the ink cartridge down securely. Note: If you replaced a cartridge while copying a document or photo, cancel printing and make sure your original is still placed correctly on the document table. Then copy your original again. If you remove a low or expended ink cartridge, you cannot reinstall and use the cartridge.

Be sure you have a new ink cartridge before you begin. Once you start replacing a cartridge you must complete all steps in one session.

1. Make sure the Epson CX printer is on.
2 Make sure the document cover is closed, then open the scanner
Caution: Do Not open the scanner when the document cover cover is open.
3. Press and release the " ink " button. The ink cartridge moves to the check position and the
" On " and " ink " lights flash. If one of the cartridges is low or empty, the printer moves the
cartridge to the _ink out mark.
Note: Don't hold down the " ink " button for 3 or more seconds or the printer starts cleaning the print head.
Caution: Do Not move the print head by hand; this may damage the printer, always press the ink
button to move it.
4. Press the " ink " button again
a. If more than one cartridge is low or empty, the next cartridge moves to the_ink out position.
b. If all of the empty or low cartridges have been identified, the print head moves to the ink
cartridge replacement position.
5. Open the cartridge cover.
6. Squeeze the tab at the back of the empty/low cartridge and lift it straight out.
7. Before you open the new ink cartridge package shake it four or five times, then remove it
from the package.
Caution: Do Not remove or tear the label on the cartridge; otherwise ink will leak.
Do Not touch the green chip on the front of the cartridge, this can damage the
ink cartridge.
8. Place the new ink cartridge into the cartridge holder and push it down until it snaps into
place.
a. Replace any other cartridges that need to be replaced.
9. Close the ink cartridge cover and press it until it clicks into place.
10.Close the scanner.
11. Press the " ink " button The print starts charging ink and the " On " light starts flashing. This
takes about one minute. When it's finished the " On " light stops flashing and remains on.
and the " ink " light goes out.
Caution: Never turn off the printer while the " On " light is flashing or you'll waste ink.
Note: If the " ink " light stays on ( not flashing ), the ink cartridge may not be installed correctly.
Press the " ink " button again and reinstall the ink cartridge until it clicks into place.

1. Look at the indicator light on your Lexmark printer. You'll need to replace ink cartridges when the light flashes or turns red instead of the standard green.

2. Purchase Lexmark ink cartridges. You can buy the brand name or purchase a generic version that is compatible with your printer. You can shop for low cost ink cartridges from ABC Ink.

3. Remove the old cartridges from your printer. Grip the sides of the Lexmark ink cartridges and pull it out. Dispose of the ink cartridges in a recycle program like the one at Staples or save the cartridges for refill.

4. Install the new ink cartridges after removing the protective tabs. Avoid touching the IC chip when installing the new Lexmark ink cartridges. Replace the cover of the printer.

5. Allow the Lexmark printer to run a nozzle test. Print several pages with the new ink cartridges to make sure you installed the ink cartridges correctly. The indicator light should return to a solid green color.

Using the printer's control panel In some circumstances, you may need to replace an ink cartridge before it is empty.
If the ink out light is flashing or is on, replace the empty ink cartridge as described in Replacing an Empty Ink Cartridge.
To replace an ink cartridge before the ink out light flashes or the Status Monitor notifies you that the cartridge is empty, follow the instructions in this section.
Caution: Do not remove the cartridge from the printer until you are ready to replace it with the other one.

Replace Ink Cartridges
Your Epson Stylus NX110 Series and its software will let you know when an ink cartridge is low or expended.
If ink is low, the ink light flashes. You can continue printing until a cartridge needs replacement.
If a cartridge is expended, the ink light stays on. You must replace the cartridge to be able to print.

Keep ink cartridges out of the reach of children and do not drink the ink.
Note:
If you need to change a cartridge before it or any other cartridges are low or expended, run the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility.

You cannot print or copy when an ink cartridge is expended even if the other cartridges are not expended. Replace any expended cartridges before printing or copying.

Leave your old cartridges in the Epson Stylus NX110 Series until you are ready to replace them to prevent the print head nozzles from drying out.
When an installed ink cartridge is more than six months old, you may need to replace it if your printouts do not look their best, even after cleaning and aligning the print head.

Replace the ink cartridges (from the manual for the printer)

Follow these instructions when you need to replace ink cartridges.

To replace the ink cartridges

1. Make sure the HP All-in-One is turned on.
2. Open the ink cartridge door by lifting from the front center of the device, until the door locks into place.
3. Squeeze the tab below an ink cartridge to release the latch inside the HP All-in-One, and then lift the latch. If you are replacing the black ink cartridge, lift the latch on the far left.
If you are replacing one of the five color ink cartridges, such as yellow, light cyan (blue), cyan, light magenta (pink), or magenta, lift the appropriate latch in the center area.
4. Pull the ink cartridge toward you out of its slot to remove it.
5. Remove the new ink cartridge from its packaging, and then, holding it by the handle, slide the ink cartridge into the empty slot. Make sure that you insert the ink cartridge into the slot that has the same shaped icon and color as the one you are installing.
6. Press down on the gray latch until it clicks into place.
7. Repeat steps 2 through 5 for each ink cartridge you are replacing.
8. Close the ink cartridge door.
