SOURCE: HP c3180 color printing problems

I would definitely start by printing a self-test page. With your model press and hold the Cancel button and then press the Start Color Copy button and then release both buttons. When this page comes out you should be able to identify the 4 different color sections...black, cyan, magenta and yellow. If any of these seperate areas are choppy or non-existant, you need to replace your cartridge. Here is a link that will show you examples of what you should/shouldn't see on the self-test report.

SOURCE: Just refilled the ink cartridges on my HP

If you do a lot of printing you may wish to look at an option such as this

http://cgi.ebay.com/Continuous-Ink-supply-system-Hp-74-75-CB335WN-CB337WN_W0QQitemZ370247388012QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20090819?IMSfp=TL090819164007r16027

You can't get the in in the wrong section of the cart (which I suspect has happened).

Please note the link is for information only and I neither know nor have used the seller listed. A google search may well provided a list of sellers for you to choose from.

I have used a continuous ink supply on my Epson (have you noticed they appear less on here for problems?) for 3 1/2 years now and my printing costs are minimal compred to useing either after market refills or refilling myself.

SOURCE: my hp deskjet 1280 will not print yellow

Hello, this is Harry from www.BusinessSpread.co.uk.
We had the exact same problem when printing, we used 3 different 78 colour ink cartages and they all said 100% full but did not work. We then had a look at the dates on the box and they were all expired so when buying ink from anywhere even PC world or Curry’s always look at the expiry date.
Today I went to PC world and purchased a new 78 ink which said expires July 2011 and it works perfectly fine.

My out of warranty l7680 will not print or photocopy in colour. Printhead status says Refilled supply Detected in printhead Black No/Yellow Yes Magenta Yes/Cyan Yes Detected in Printer Black No/Yellow Yes...

The error states that you are using non-HP cartridges for all colours. If black prints fine then you should replace the colour cartridges with genuine HP colour carts. You should be able to get a refund on the refills since they clearly do not work as intended.

Hi there, need your kind help. My Hp laserjet 5550 has a missing colour problem. Cyan is missing in the print out, giving rise to to blue and green colours being absent in print-outs. Scanner is confirmed...

Cyan cartridge is OK, means that the display shows the level of toner in the cartridge, right? Then chip it is ok.
Try another cyan toner, the printer may be that it has broken the opening flap of the laser. Or check if the laser's flap cyan is blocked.

Print colour is off

Sounds like you have cyan and magenta ink but no yellow. (You need yellow to get yellows, greens, reds and orange shades.) First try running the printer utility to clean your ink jets, then run a test print. If this does not work then simply replace the yellow ink cartridge.

My printer will only print in blues pinks and purple and black and white

ur printer prints in blues pinks n purple: its very simple :there r three prime colours in ur colour cartridge that forms all the other colour variation they are cyan, magenta n yellow. ur yellow colour in ur cartridge is either dried or empty thats the reason its not printing the colour variations which requires yellow. the solution is to either get ur colour cartridge refilled or replace ur colour cartridge. rate this solution as fixya n encourage us to help u solve ur problems in future too.thanks 4 using fixya.
