Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 Digital Camera
I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 which is showing spots on all the pictures. This is likely due to dust on the CCD sensor. This is easy to fix on an SLR type camera, but I have no idea how to get to the sensor on this camera. Is it possible to remove the lens to get to the CCD or is there an easier solution. I really hate to have to pay Panasonic $160 to clean my camera as that's half the cost of a new unit. Thanks for any suggestions!
Upgrade to the TZ3 or TZ5. TZ3 is smaller and has a great wide angle lens. You can get a very good buy on Ebay for a used or new TZ3 because it has been replaced with the latest TZ5.
You can likely get about $40 dollars for yous, if it has all the stuff it shipped with, even with the problem you mention, since repairmen buy time to fix and resell on ebay.
