SOURCE: How do I reset the

Hello
If you don't know the administrative password then the only thing you can do is reload the operating system using the manufacturers operating system recovery disk(s). There is no way around the password other than this. If you don't have the recovery disk set then call the parts dept. of the maker of the computer and you can order it, the price of the recovery disks varies by manufacturer, but the last time I ordered a set of disks (for this exact same problem, no password) it was $20.00 if i recall correctly. You can also email Fujitsu support (email support is free) to confirm what I'm saying is correct.

Below is a link to Fujitsu USA support.

HI,

Try to go to control panel and then click mouse icon, then go to touchpad properties..Enable it from there. If it does not work, then update you chipset drivers. Go to shopfujitsu.com scroll down click download. Put in your Model and series numbers then look for the chipset drivers.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Meir

How to reset bios password in lifebook ah531/gfo series

you need to force a bios clear. often you need to get the system to default into a bios setup to do this, if you have more than one memory stick installed try removing one an boot up. this should generate a bios error due to the memory size mismatch. If it doesn't, power back down, reinstall the simm and boot back up and see if this error will bring up a bios error and allow you into setup. If neither of these work, try removing the hard drive and power up. If none of these work, Fujitsu (the original mfg) played an obnoxious game and used an external software access bios config, and this will require an original disc to access.

you can't reset BIOS passwor by flashing the BIOS. The password is stored in a different chip. Contact Acer for the master password if you are the owner of the laptop.

Omnibook 4150 password

One Time, I forgot BIOS PASSWORD OMNIBOOK 4150XE2.
I had to find a way to clear the CMOS on my own.
(1) Remove the memory access panel.
(2) Remove the sticks of memory.
(3) I believe it is the top stick, but it may be the bottom. There are two solder points that stand out.
(4) With a small screwdriver or other tool, short these two contacts.
(5) Replace the memory and put the access panel back on.

Your CMOS should now be cleared. I have only done this on an XE2, but chances are there are similar ways on other HP laptops.

Make much attention... it can be dangerous.
If you want, try this solution, BUT YOUR RESPONSABILITY.

or
H.P. will provide a solution FREE OF CHARGE even though the laptop is out of warranty.....unbelievable I know !!!!

You have to try and give proof of purchase, very important, then a code is given which you enter in the bios. Then you contact H.P. with the resultant code and then your bios password will be unlocked........

regards

BIOS Password - UNKNOWN

Remove the battery. That will clear the cmos known as the bios. Check the manual there may also be a jumper that can also clear the bios. Remove the battery & unplug the power before doing this.
