Make sure that the paper roll is pushed all the way down on the rod and the piece that you put on it is fitted snuggly against the roll. When you pull the paper through the feeder pull it about 2-3 feet outward and it should align.

The obvious thing is to turn the printer off, remove paper tray, take out the paper, look to see if anything clearly amiss with either the printer or the paper tray itself, reflll the paper tray with a moderate quantity of preferably fresh paper - though this should not matter - and replace the newly-loaded tray. Turn the printer back on and see if it works or not. You may also try single sheet manual feed if this available for your printer.
When trying to print on continuous stationery, the display may show "Online Single Load". This will occur if the printer is expecting to print on single sheet paper even though you may want it to print on continuous paper. To clear the error follow this procedure. •Take the printer off-line by pressing the Online key •Press the Setup key •Press the key under "Paperway" in the display •Select Tractor 1 (or Tractor 2 if fitted/required) •Press the key under "Set" •If the job still refuses to print try loading the printer with a single sheet of paper to clear the command. To do this remove the tractor feed paper and close the cover on top of the tractors but not the outside cover. You will see a guide into which put a single sheet of paper and press the key under "Load" in the display. •The printer should commence printing. If it does not, then press and hold the key under "LF/FF" to eject the single sheet. Now follow the instructions above again to select the Tractor. The display should read "OnLine Tractor Load". Load the tractor fed paper into the Tractors and press the key under "Load". The printer should now be ready to print. Check your software settings for the correct paper path type. Ensure that the display does not show "Manual" otherwise you will have to clear this error in the same manner as you have for Single sheet
Hi, this is a vey common fault. If you look down where the white runner is you should be able to see two grooves cut in the base of the unit. This is the guide for the white plastic arm you are referring to. What you need to do is take a paper clip, open it out so you have a pointed end available. Push it in to these grooves and run it along to the left hand side. You'll find paper debris is stuck in these grooves which prevents the printhead from pushing the white arm across enough so it will not return. Because the arm cannot get far enough to the left hand side it sticks and you will encounter paper jammimg under the plastic guide on top of the printer. This is a very common problem on this model of printer and the Oki 520
Try cleaning the rollers with purified water. See instructions here. Also make sure you fan the paper before loading, try flipping it upside down, and see here. If you have no luck, try another brand of paper, or loading more or fewer sheets...
Good luck, that's a frustrating problem...
I've had this happen to my scx4521f a few times. I think I had too much paper in it. Or maybe it was poorly loaded paper. Take the stack of paper out and turn it around so you have no dings or dents on the inward facing side. You need to make sure that the paper is stacked evenly. Good luck. And now I will post my problem.
Try to check the paper media set on the plotter (roll/plain paper). It usually happens if paper media is not the same with the plotter setting. To change it, unload the paper, press the media button on the printer to the right media and load the paper again. It should work now.
