Try tapping your finger on edge of the screen where the line starts/ends... it works for me... its a lose connection normally with the rubber seals that have connections in them that lead to the circuit boards inside.... try it and let me know...

This maybe the symptom of a bad Panel. One Vertically This line is 99% bad panel. Call your warranty provider or SONY tech support if purchased under 2 years.

Fixed non moving lines usually means you have a problem in the panel display or t-con. If it is in warranty get it to a factory authorized service center. If not you can try to change the t-con and see if this fixes the problem, if not then it will be the panel it's self and will be cost prohibitive to repair.
