It is telling me that the dlink is unsecured

This means that you have an open network. Your router has its default passwords and has not been changed at all. This will allow users/strangers to login to your router or connect to your network wirelessly.

To secure your router, just define a password for your route and for your wireless connection. Open a new browser, type on the address bar, Username is admin and leave the password blank, then login. You will then enter to your router's control panel. Look for the Wireless settings and choose a setting to define a password for your wireless connection. Follow the instructions and click ok. After that process, your network will be secured.

Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you for using FixYa.

I put themes to my e63 phone. but some msg coming themes not supported pls contat vender.

The MMS settings (for example, MMS access point) are correctly defined in your device.

1. First confirm with your operator or service provider about the following things:
  • Data plan is activated on your SIM card.
  • The MMS settings (for example, MMS access point) are correctly defined in your device.
  • Roaming is activated when you are not in your home network.
2. If possible, insert another SIM card in your device to isolate network problems.
3. If possible, check your SIM card functionality with another device.
4. If your device supports dual mode, change to GSM mode and retry.
5. Restore the factory settings.
6. If the problem persists, visit the nearest Nokia care point.

Can't get brand new toshiba laptop to connect to internet. i already returned it twice to the store, and spoke with technical support from my ISP.

May be the network driver must not be installed correctly or the settings defined in the network adapter are not fine....

You have to contact your network operator to get your GPRS activated. If already activated, then proper MMS setting have to be defined in your mobile. If your mobile model is a standardised model then you will receive the settings automatically from your network operator. Or else you have to define the MMS profile manually be getting manual settings from your network operator. Then you can send MMS using this profile provided MMS is already activated for your mobile number.

Proxy settings

Chances are your internet connection at home differs from your "out and about" settings.

In IE go to tools + internet options + connections + lan settings + automatically detect settings. Try your browser again.

The other place where you might be able to fix your problem is within your network connections (Network Places + Network Connectons). Right click on your LAN or Wireless Connection (whichever you connect to the web with) and choose properties - scroll down to TCP/IP properties and double click on it. If you see a bunch of numbers displayed this is why you have a problem. Those numbers define your local or business network and are what is referred to as "static" ips. You can fix your connection problem by choosing obtain an IP address automatically (and the same with the DNS entry) but if you are using these settings on your internal network you are going to have problems.

Write down the settings within your TCP/IP connection (if you need to change them and so you can put them back later if necessary) and choose the automatic settings option.

Try to browse now.

Report your results back here.
