Hi. How do i repair my Microsoft outlook?

Hi, from the "Start Menu" go to the Conrol Panel, select the "Add a Program ? Uninstall a program, open the window, next find the "Microsoft OutLook," select to ("Repair") a program, the "Wizard" will Run! Next, restart the computer after the application finish. Upon opening my Outlook "Personal Folders" I receive an error message indicating that I improperly closed the files at last session. What is the proper procedure for closing the folders? Thanks.Bill C.

This kind of message usually occurs when the computer crashes, or Outlook otherwise closes without completing the housekeeping it normally does when you close the program. If you are working on a laptop and it didn't recover from hibernating properly that might cause this kind of problem,

If you click File, then Exit to close Outlook in the future that should minimize or eliminate the problem.

My outlook loads twice on clicking the outlook icon. I have to "X" one of the versions to close, any ideas why it loads twice?

You may have the mouse options set to "single click". Try a single click rather than a double. If it's the icon in the toolbar you should only click once anyway.

Problems loading Microsoft Office Professional 2007

Check your computer for viruses. More than once I have seen when new software was unable to be installed that the computer had a virus that prevented the new installation of software. Either use a free online anti-virus service or download the trinity rescue cd.

Good luck

Outlook 2007 slow on closing and crashes on open

Your computer might be using caching. Can you tell me how much RAM you have on your computer? If you have 2GB of RAM i would recommend disabling the caching. This slows down the system quiet a bit (since it uses miliseconds instead of nanoseconds). Your computer is as fast as the slowest component.  I would also suggest defragging the drive.
