Hello
Check its antenna connection for firmness. It should be tight to an extent. If it got loose, the snow [video noise] will be there on picture. If it tight and still there is snow, check for any connection break at the antenna mast over the roof. If all are found OK, and still the problem perists, the tuner to your TV is defective and should be replaced.

Why does my magnavox 52 inch dlp make a fairly loud humming noise for 10 minutes or so after turning the tV on? It gradually get quieter.

It is likely a bad fan that gets quiter as it warms up from use. There are two fans on that TV - one under the bulb housing and one at the left vent hole. They are special fans with three leads - +, - and an RPM indicator (yellow lead typically).

Cant get my 14" Craig TV to work anymore.

Check the connection at the back of the TV. During moving, any of them might got loose. Check it. As the TV has snow and hissing sound, there is no fault with it. The fault must be to the cable or antenna connections.

It sounds like you have a bad color wheel. If you are handy with electronics, it is a pretty simple fix. If not, I would suggest you take your set to a qualified service center.

If you hear a clicking noise that sounds like the ballast trying to power on the lamp, but nothing happens, the lamp may be faulty.

Here you can get your lamp that most likely needs replacing.

After 2 foot snow and riding on snow packed roads, rumbling noise from under car.

With all due respect, what the H___ are you doing driving in 2 Feet of SNOW? The rumbling noise you hear is most likely caused from Snow being impacted in the CV Joints, Wheel Wells and anywhere else from freezing in place after driving in the "Deep Snow". The solution is to have the care raised on a Hoist and Pressure Washed to remove all Snow and Ice from the the entire Bottom Side of the Vehicle. It then should be allowed to dry thoroughly in that building before being driven. Additionally, if any noises occur upon exiting that facility turn around and have it repaired before it costs you untold thousands of dollars to repair.

Next time you have "DEEP SNOW" wait until the Roads have been cleared, salted or sanded and are back down to pavement before driving on them.

Hi, I have a Magnavox 17MD255V/17 combo dvd-tv. Everything works fine except that the AC adaptor has a high-pitched whistle that continues while the tv is on. I tried unplugging from the the tv itself and...

TAKE THE AC ADAPTER APART. LOOK AT WHERE THE MANUFACTURER PUT HIS GLUE AND REDO IT CLEAR NIAL POLISH WORKS BETTER IT FLOWS UNDER THE PARTS BETTER. YOU CAN PLUG IT ALL IN WHEN ITS APART BUT MAKE SURE NOTHING CAN SHORT OUT. THIS WAY YOU CAN PINPOINT WHERE THE NOISE IS COMING FROM. OTHERWISE GLUE THE TRANSFORMER AND ANY SMALL FERRITE BEADS THESE SWITCHED MODE POWER SUPPLIES OPERATE AT HIGH FREQUENCIES AND LOOS PARTS CAN VIBRATE CAUSING THIS NOISE.
