Manufacturer/brand of Studio Series M5400 tv

I have been trying for a week to find the brand/manufacturer of my tv. It is a 2002 Studio Series M5400 & that is the ONLY name shown on the tv anywhere. I want to program the remote for my DirecTV so that it will also work my tv (volume, on/off, etc). Can someone PLEASE help me find the info. I need in order to get the tv code I must have to program the remote? Studio Series is not shown as an option in the brand listings for the code #s. Please help me find the actual brand/manufacturer of the tv and/or the code I need to program the DirecTV remote. Any help will be VERY much appreciated. Thanks, rapple

TV won't turn on with universal remote

The TV code needs to be reset in the remote. Check instructions that came with the remote or contact the remote's manufacturer customer service for the codes and instructions. Each brand of remote uses different codes and sequence of moves to enter the codes. Note: there are often a series of codes for each TV brand, without specifying individual models; you'll need to try several or all to find the one that works with your specific TV model (some may partially work; i.e., activate some commands, but usually only one code is totally correct). Once set, the code should remain permanently in the remote's memory.

I HAVE A ZENITH MANUFACTURER PFBRUARY 1998 , SERIAL #V08871551. I NEED THE REMOTE CODE TO PROGRAM MY CHARTER TV REMOTE

027,022,018,046,073,082 are the codes to check. If you wish to get more details, check this site. Pull up older posts there. Setup code list and setup proceedings to many popular brand remote controls are given. Three digit, four digit, five digits and two-digit code list are there. Check the site with patience. Surely you'll get a solution to your problem. Search the site by 'Timeslide' option. It will make search easy. Or, type in the brand name to your device into its search box, and press "Enter."

What must i do to start programming my remote to my tv

First look up your TV code in the manual (link below). Some TVs are manufactured by another company, so you can try codes for the manufacturer's TVs as well. Funai makes a number of brands (including Emerson); your TV manual may indicate the manufacturer.

Then turn on your TV, if possible. Then press and hold Set (just below the LED) until the LED blinks twice. Enter a four-digit code with less than 10 seconds between key presses. Press the Power button and check if the tv turns off (or on). If the TV does not respond, try a different code. When the TV responds, check if the other functions of the remote work.

One For All remote manuals and code lists are available here: http://www.oneforall.com/support/manual . Use the drop down menus to select Universal Remote and then the model. You may need to change the Region at the top of the page.

The direct link to the URC-1050 manual is: http://www.oneforall.com/uploads/support/71565305a95bc645c30a7af2b6994b71.pdf .

Please note that the manual for this remote has a copywrite date of 2002. Most universal remotes are limited to codes for devices released 6 months or more before the remote was programmed. If your TV is newer than your remote, you may need a new remote.

I hope this helps.

Wanna know the code for a emerson tv

Which universal remote are you trying to program? The codes will vary by manufacturer (RCA, One-For-All, etc). Most of the universal remotes manufacturers have support sites for their remotes with either code lists or code finders available. For RCA remotes, start here: http://rcaaudiovideo.com/remotecodefinder/ and enter the model of the remote and the device type. Then look for the brand of your device.

Some devices are made by another manufacturer and the code for the company that built the unit may work if the brand of the device isn't listed.

Please note that universal remote codes are limited to those for devices released more than 6 months before the remote was programmed. If your device is newer than the remote, you may need a new remote.

I hope this helps.

I need the codes for PHILIPS Sru 2103/27 universal remote control for Philips tv

Hello
There is no manufacturer code given in its manual. But you can find out the code of your device to be controlled with this remote control.

Code search by Brand

Lets you search for a code for a specific Brand within

the Code Library for a particular manufacturer.

1. Turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.

2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red

indicator remains on, then release SETUP button.

3. Press and quickly release the desired mode button

(TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks off once.

4. Press and release the numeric button (0-9)

corresponding to desired Manufacturer (see table on

code list sheet). The red indicator blinks off once.

Note, pressing "0" performs a full library search same

as normal Code Search Method on previous page.

5. Press the CHANNEL UP button ((or POWER or

PLAY (VCR only)) repeatedly until the device to be

controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks

off with each button press. If you accidentally

overshoot the code required, press the CHANNEL

DOWN button to backtrack through the library until

the device changes channel. Pressing CHANNEL

UP changes direction to forward again.

6. Press and release MUTE to install the code.

Brand Search Method entry is now complete.

Note: When all codes under a Brand have been searched
the red indicator flashes rapidly for 3 seconds.

We have an AK59-00104R remote for our Blu-Ray player and a Samsung TV. The remote has been working fine on both for over a month now and yesterday it stopped working for the TV. I'm thinking my 1 year old...

To program this Samsung remote to work with a TV, press the TV POWER button on the remote while entering a manufacturer specific code into the remote at the same time.
1. Switch the TV on. 2. Point the remote towards the TV. 3. Press and hold the TV Power button and enter the two-digit code for that brand of TV. If the code is compatible, the TV will switch off. 4. There may be more than one code for that manufacturer, so try them all until one works.
For Samsung TVs, one of the following codes should work: +01 +02 +03 +04 +05 +06 +07 +08 +09

HOW DO YOU FIND REMOTE CONTROL CODE FOR KENMARK TV

Hi there,

Each manufacturer of universal remote controls have their own codes for different brands of TV or DVD and so forth, usually a code list is provided by the manufacturer along with the remote when purchased new. Or you will need to go to the remote control manufacturer's website and look up your particular remote control to see if a list of codes is available.

Hope this helps,

James

Best bet is to call the TV manufacturer and ask them if they have any codes that might work. Often off brand televisions are produced by a major manufacturer and may respond to standard codes not mentioned in the manual.
