New Refrigerator not working properly after being tilting while unloading

Recently purchased new compact Avanti Refrigerator. It was tilted backward briefly while unloading from truck. The freezer works great, but not the refrigerator. We have unplugged it and allowed it to stand for two days prior to plugging it back in, but the refrigerator section is not cooling properly.

You can power the refrigerator on after 3-4 hours, as per _any_ manufacturer's instruction manual. But seriously, all you need to do is give it about 3 hours and you will be fine.

How to make the freezer door on a kenmore elite 74033 tilt

Refrig of the year: Kenmore Elite 74033 Refrigerator
Consumer Reports Rated: Excellent

Hello Charles,

Just when I'm thinking Sears SERVICE is NOT some sort
of sad/bad joke... you put in a Kenmore Elite Model number...

continued search found your Owners Manual... Pages 10 & 16 are what you want

The front should be slightly higher than the rear to aid in door closing... (page 10)

Your refrigerator has two front leveling legs-one on the right and one on the left. Adjust the legs to alter the tilt from front-to-back or side-to-side. If your refrigerator seems unsteady, or you want the doors to close more easily, adjust the refrigerator's tilt using the instructions below: NOTE: Tools Required: 11/16" wrench or flat blade screwdriver.
1. Turn the leveling leg to the left to raise that side of the refrigerator or to the right to lower it. It may take several turns of the leveling leg to adjust the tilt of the refrigerator.
NOTE: Having someone push backward against the top of the refrigerator takes some weight off of the leveling legs. This makes it easier to adjust the legs.
2. Open both doors again and check to make sure that they close easily. If the doors do not close easily, tilt the refrigerator slightly more to the rear by turning both leveling legs to the left. It may take several more turns, and you should turn both leveling legs the same amount... (page 16)

`` After that...

All you have to do to maximize that efficiency is keep the closure area free of pizza boxes, ice cubes or errant frozen food bags.

Hope this was helpful...

Purchased an Avanti BCA5102 refrigerator and plugged it in and set it to cool and it has not got cool in two days? Anything I might be able to do to get it working properly?

Hello.
The problem with messing with the unit at this point, is the fact that you would void the warranty. Did you try plugging something else into the socket to make sure you are getting power? If the socket it ok you will need to return it or call a factory authorize servicer.

Fridge temp high

freon and a compressor is about as easy as it gets....Loss of freon will cause erratic cooling...also if you can feel it touch the compressor after it shuts off if if feels like its really hot ....bad compressor that kicks an internal breaker....bad news then time for new one also only a airconditioner man can put freon in no 12 . but freon will stay for 50 to 80 years for i tested some old fridges and still cool fine.

Refrigerator Problem

Could be the temp control is not registering temps correctly. If you leave is below 6 does everything warm up? The compressor should only run when it needs to, not all the time. In other words, if you put it on 4 will the food stay cool (about 38F)? A typical unit only runs a few minutes a day if the doors are not opened up all the time.
