Question about Polaris Garden
Got it cheap but someone took all the vac lines off and couldnt get them back on. has compression. and fires on time but has no fuel getting to the cyl. i am an exp mech and have rebuilt the carb and checked all possible options. carb passed all seat seal test's with vac guage for leak down. now im dealing with vac line placement and minor elec problems. [ dog chewed wiring when in garage] dog gone, wife mad, wants it to be finished, being as it cost me my dog, please help. god bless you, Joseph...

my polaris outlaw 500 sarted cuting out last ride could not ecerate past 1/4 throtle and was back fireing so went to fix and wont run at all i have spark, plug is wet, changed fuel, seems to have compresion, when it turns over it tries to fire at times more like a hickup almost stops the sarter and a puff of smoke out the carb. im about to tare it down any ideas whats wrong ? bike was hard to start but ran ran perfect killed raptors with ease. bike was bored and built by some shop before i owned using ktm sleave and piston ? motor says nicols 520. didt over heat or make noises. have tried cleaning carb, jeting no luck please help

My Sportsman runs bad when heated up, but if you add fuel it runs fine again. I had a pick up that had an internal fuel pump like our Sportsman's and it did the exact same thing. It turned out being the fuel pump was worn out due to a plugged fuel filter. Forcing the pump to fail prematurely. I found I had bad fuel in my Sportsman and am going to replace the filter and the fuel pump. I also checked my plugs, MAF sensor, and Air filter, they were fine.

you probly need a new heat sensor, its located on the bottom right of your rad, i had the same problem with my 700 the fan only worked when it was already over heating, i cut the wires flush at the sensor drilled a hole above the key switch and mounted a toggle switch, no more over heating,
