Re: Problem adding wsp155 wireless speakers.

You must check with the instalation gude for the wireless speaker to see if the connection to the reciver is a high impedence or low impedence... If its like most wireless set-ups its going to be a high impedence output from the reciver to the transmitter part of the speakers. That would be from the RCA jacks in the back of the reciver maked line out or tape out. If you want to use them for a specific speaker output , some recivers have an output jack that would be labeled center sperker out but would be an RCA type jack ect ect. If your reciver dosent have that you can in a higher end audio store get an adaptor to convert the speaker output to a high impedence, But I dont recomend that as some of the adaptors do cause excessive strain on the output section of the amp or reciver.. If you buy a good one though you should be fine.. You get what you pay for.. Good Luck

How do u connect the wireless speakers ?

Not much info here, Anon. So, I'll tell you what I know about wireless speakers generally. I have a Samsung home theater which has wireless surround speakers. However, "wireless" simply means they're not wired to the receiver. Wires are needed, however, to run from the surrounds to a unit (receiver is all it is) which must be plugged into a regular wall plug. This receiver picks up the surround signals from the theater and then transmits them to the speakers.

Presumably, you have this wireless receiver unit which matches your speakers. . . If not, it may be something you must buy separately. I don't know what type of electronic equipment you're talking about here, but what I just described is the norm for home theater. The only truly "wireless" speakers I know of are battery powered and are for patios, porches, decks, etc. so that you can listen to your music outside. They are tuned to a particular radio frequency - like a walkie talkie.

Paradigm 5.1 to 7.1 system

The Dolby curcuit in the Paradigm must be Dolby 7.1 or it will simply not be able to send the extra channel signals to the speakers. In otherwords you will not get the full 7.1 sound from two speakers added to a 5.1 amp.

How do I add an outdoor wireless speaker to my Sony home theater system that has WIRED speakers?

An outdoor wireless system operates from a base unit that is connected to your sony using RCA cables. If your system has a "Front Main" rca output on the back (red and white plug in points) use those. If you dont have a main output look for a "Tape 2 Monitor" or "Rec out" Those outputs will allow you to listen in another area where the wireless speakers are when the same thing is on in the main area. If you want to be able to listen to wireless speakers without the main area on, your system needs to have a "Zone 2" output. If you need further clarification on this, post a comment and I'l help some more. Hope this helps

Normally, speaker wires of any length are available from most electronic stores and/or audio/video stores. Even those shops that do car audio installations would have them in their inventory. The only requirement/specification you would need is the power output of your home theater and the required length. The longer the distance, the better the bigger the wires. Speaker wires always come in pairs and have color coding to designate +/-.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

RCA Wireless speaker

This happened to one of ours, it turned out that the plug was damaged. Try using batteries and see if it will work, if so, you know that you need to just get a new adapter plug. Good luck!

Rca wsp155

There should be a mini connector (Male) connection to 2 RCA (MALE) Connectors. You just hook the output of computer (Mini) plug to that then hookup your RCA connectors usually white and Red to the transmitter and it should work fine. Try the premium area if you need further assistance. Guru Jay
