MSN Messenger NULL message problem

I am using Windows XP home edition on my computer. I downloaded a firewall and had to restore my system in order to be able to connect to the internet. When I called my service provider she had me install Internet Explorer 7. When I tried to log on to Yahoo Messenger I received the following error message in the top of the blue box it says pyavore.search.searchdectection. Inside the blue box it says
I can log into Yahoo but I can't do anything because of this error message. I have to close it out or it will send a report. I followed the expert advice I got and now it's working properly HOWEVER, MSN LIVE MESSENGER is giving me the same problem!! I ran Malwarebytes and uninstalled MSN Messenger. I tried to install an early version of MSN Messenger but after I install it as directed it MAKES me download a new version and when the downloaded new version finishes I am back to the beginning with the same problem. Can you help again, please? Thanks so very much!

Yes i am Sorry i am the one telling you this but i have the Same problem. The thing is your Computer has a virus and you have to wipe it clean and start over again. i sugest though that you scann the programs that dont work for viruses and if it shows there ar not any use Regestry Mechanic. But if you want to save money you should just wipe it clean

Try first reinstalling MSN , and see if this fix the problem.

Try first reinstalling both messengers, the situation is quite unusual, I see if that can be related to any known malaware.

    See latest version below:

The MSN Messenger v7.0 is now MSN Messenger v7.5 and the Yahoo Messenger v7.0 BETA is now Yahoo Messenger with Voice.

I did not find anything regarding similar problems, probably it had ben caused by a malaware.

Here is one of the most powerful antispyware, try downloading and running a full scan after installation.
The scan will take over one hour, download from following website:

    Softpedia Mirror (US) [EXE]

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

It sounds as tho your firewall is blocking the service. Go into your firewall, you will find a list of allowed programs, and simply click on allow, for MSN. BTW, MSN uses port 1863

Do one thing. Download the latest copy of messenger from http://messenger.live.com and install it. This will overwrite your old messenger files and let you login.

Messenger 9 for Vista users and XP users with 9, The updated Windows Firewall will not let Messenger download correctly. And is causing 9 and 8.1 users to have problems now.. The only option that might help is turning off the firewall to download and install then turning it back on.Go to control panel, click on windows fire wall, Exceptions tab. make sure messenger is checked,if not listed then add it to the list.then click save.
.If the fire wall still causes problems, then revert back to 8.0 or 7.5 these and all versions of messenger can be found here; http://www.freecreed.com/ymsgr-archive.h...
You need to remove version 9 1st to get another version to work. To remove Messenger version Use Unwise located middle of page of Messenger Folder.. Your contacts are stored online But if you want to save your old messages archives, they are saved on your PC in the messenger file you are about to delete.Go here and copy them to a new folder
Start>my computer>c:drive>program files>yahoo>messenger>profiles>(your ID)>archive>messages

Hello,
It sounds like your msn is having trouble accessing the msn servers.
Please try reinstall latest msn software and if this doesn't work out please consider disabling your firewall (under control panel) and then check the msn software (don't forget to enable the firewall once you have determined if this caused the problem).
Thank you for using agadycom.

Do you have a firewall? Because if so it sounds like it is disabling the connection from your computer to the Yahoo! Server.
